no yesterday 2 areas have been claimed for 10 min only.it happened to me dude.I wish it wasnt so but it was. I know cause I was timing it,and thats how it happend. also server patches can be used to steal land shorter time,it like nerf the time when server goes down so they can claim even faster then 10 min.

This is wrong.Claims can be stolen in 10 min unless your in the area itself!

yea dont matter small or large plot.you can get 4 crops from either size(size dosent matter) but to get 4 youll need to mini game each plot 4 times and be successful each time or it will only yield 1 or 2,defently not worth the effort on top of that crops have 5min in game spoil.,

I play solo on my own.and unlike what alot of whiners said you cant do it,ive sailed big ships ive found land first and claimed half an island as my own first human discovery,built a base and went traveling to trade and got resources hard to find. But yes the Claim system is broken.Like all the whiners say it actually works:1 claim per 1 person.it means if you dont sleep in an area it can be stolen, that`s what happened to me. I was ganged by a 2 player company. They first stole 2 areas,then built a small house on the second claim.that way I wasnt able to take back my land like you say in your post. In order to take claims owner must be online,and not on the claim itself. Sleeping i didnt lose any claim i was on,and couldnt take also claims from others sleeping in theirs. There is some exploit that people use to bypass this mechanic. Im not sure how,I never was into destroying and hacking stuff,but some people love it and are genius in exploiting systems to make gain.(like those guys found out useing repair hammer to kill sleepers..how do you find such things?)

Pressing the " ` " key give access to commands. type "gamma 4" to raise brightness and make night time nicer, type "gamma 2" to lower it in the morning.

Your link is broken but I can finally confirm,salt is found in D8! Its definitely not anywhere on the beach,it is found in specific area where you can get few nodes,unlike rocks for example which are all over metal nodes etc.. here is a proper pic of how it looks like:

Good question. I had a friendly guy I met while on several treasure hunts..He helped me kill some of the dead.. Then after he offered me an Alliance , but told him im sorry,as I dont know the repercussions of this.

So as no answer from the devs given,and as one of the first to get a claim area, and slowly lose it to stealers, What do you do after the day your base have been stolen? Where do you go? how do you spawn if you die? Just trying to wrap my head around this,if someone has been to this situation. Is there a way to continue,or is this the end for you?

System is flawed,I got people steal my claims until they overlapped my base,now my base have intermittent ownership,some of my stuff became the stealers ownership,some still mine..dont think they realize it yet cause they can come break my previous built gates and let anyone go in steal my stuff.. Only protection it seems is when your offline sleeping in your base they cant steal it for 3 days.. So thats how im repayed for been active player.. Im just gone quit the game for now,and log on a bit each day so they cant steal at least the minimum I still have.

After checking all my base now has intermittent ownership,with the claim stealers! this is really seriously not cool. Whats the reason to play PVE when people can just come and wipe all your effort.. Here is a short video ive uploaded to show this mess:

A company stole some of my claim few days ago..now its overlaping in my base so apparently some of my gates are now belonging to them now,but pin is mine?? They can simply come break my gates now and all my base will be exposed to theft and griffin again... Terrible bug..please put this in order!

Well not all of us can be on a group,and im just sharing my experience.

So like i grab amo couple of maps and head to an Island I know.. I reach the X.I get attacked by bees.. I deal with bees army of dead spawn.. I get to kill most but one.. he vanishes..I go back all spawn again.. Rinse and repeat. Total result: 0 gold 0 bp tons of XP. nice dumb mechanic. Guess so called "treasure maps" for me ill change the name to XP maps.I got like 5 levels by this constant waves of undead killed like 4 waves got 4 levels and im level 43 atm.. Its kind dumb kinda frustrating,easily done with group,problem is im solo,so this main event is broken for me and much frustrating.

It finally worked,after demolished and read another post dude said it cant touch water!

I put oil in..nothing happened.. Ill try to demolish and rebuilt maybe will be better..

How do you light it? Many in my server say wood,ive put different kinds didnt start.. Also oil and thatch.. Should I try to demolish and built it again? like got bugged?
