Yep, swg was completely ruined when they changed the skill system. Apprentice points are the only bad part about the original system(i mean character development, not the jedi holocron afk grind). -
You lost me at WoW, I'd have never bought this in early access if it was a theme park.

Your first sentence is inaccurate. This game is a sandbox(vs being a theme park) . Sandbox and mmo aren't mostly exclusive. Have you ever played ultima online, star wars Galaxies, or eve online? All sandbox mmos. This one sure as hell isn't a theme park mmo, feels like a sandbox to me.

Can we make ship combat a little more real?

+1 for slightly more realistic combat. I don't mean DCS level realism, but somewhere along the same lines as the realism for the sailing in game. I don't see a problem limiting cannons to a ship's gunports.
