No just means a bunch of carebears whined and complained because they were getting raided in a PVP game. All of you that are crying now about being offlined wont be around in a month after they add those protections anyways because you will still be destroyed and cant handle it and quit. That goes for if they even make it around to doing that. All of you entitled cry babies just need to go to PVE so you cant be raided or go to unofficial where the server is setup the way you want it already with ORP. Just wait if they do add ORP to official server it will be abused / exploited to the point you all will be crying about that same way it is in Ark. And as for the last part about solo players I play solo and live in a lawless area where I have not been raided base has been there for 2 weeks now.

Uh NO why would i leave a server that I have no issue with the way its setup. There are servers out there for what you want already go play on them. Official PVP server does not need ORP.

You want to protect your crap then build better defenses. If you want ORP so bad then go play unofficial server. Stop trying to demand that ORP is needed for official PVP when you have them already setup with populated servers on unofficial.

You say that but from what i've read there are a bunch of trolls on the PVE server as well....

If they did that with the official PVE server i would be totally fine with that. But leave the Official PVP server as is. Ton of us do not want the watered down gameplay. On top of that it is a broken mechanic that would not work in this style of game. Its either all or nothing when it comes to the PVP server. There should be no safe zones for ppl to abuse in PVP.

The only offline feature that should be added is when a company goes offline their structures and ships have a buff that gives resistance to damage. This way things can still be raided but at a steep price. The no damage while offline is a joke and will be abused and exploited badly.

Atlas is not setup that way nor should the official pvp server be setup like that.

I edited my post before your reply. But that is what i mentioned at the end. You can add a structure resistance so it takes more resources to raid and I would be ok with that. But to make it so you can not be raided at all should not be implemented in the PVP server.

.ORP can be abused so many ways by just having a 2nd account where you can store things and never have to worry about it being looted and that's just 1 example there are plenty more. Now the one thing if they add where a company is offline it took more explosive barrels or cannon balls to raid someone i wouldnt be against that idea to make it cost more to raid an offline base or ship. But to simply add a mechanic into the game that allows you to not raid someone is flawed.

I do not play 24/7 idk why you think that everyone that doesnt want ORP plays 24/7. I actually only play about 2-4 hrs a day if that. If you do not want to be raided while offline go play unofficial or PVE. I have been playing over a month and still have not gotten bored and still lots of ppl playing to be raided. Your point of view of a dead game due to not having ORP is flawed so please just stop.

there will always be enemies. Look at arks official servers there are still people playing in those and they have no ORP.

Ok fine like i previously said unofficial servers have that option already quite a few of them are populated and well run by good admins go try that. Stop trying to demand official server needs ORP.

The same goes for if they get wiped while playing the people will leave either way. I have played enough ark with ORP servers the ones that want it and get wiped leave no matter what. All of you that demand ORP there are servers populated with that feature already, go look for unofficial server.

You are playing on a open world PVP server. Stop demanding that there be some sort of ORP. If that is what you want go find it on a unofficial server. Alot of us play PVP for the full experience we do not want it watered down by having things being in a safe zone or time frame.

Who says just because ppl offline it doesnt cause pvp. I have many times jumped a person or group that were raiding a base offline. I waited for them to break in first obviously then killed them and looted both them and the base. If you are on a PVP server expect to be raided every time u login. If you cant cope with that there are other options out there like join larger company or play PVE. There are also unofficial servers that might be more suitable for you that are well ran and populated.

Oh i totally agree with you, and hope it does not happen. Its bad enough that the devs are already caving in and going to implement some type of ORP in march

No I have not played EVE. So then you are watering down the pvp experience to just ship battles then. Sounds quite boring and limited.

There would be no point living in the PVP area. And when PVP does happen everyone would just run for the PVE server and be fine. On top of that people would just sit and camp the server lines and soon as you cross over you would be sunk by time you could do anything.

Everyone would just live in the PVE area with little to no risk for anything. It would be abused / exploited.

I would just like to know more details because usually making things easier for solo players and small companies also makes it even easier for the mega companies. How are they gonna separate it so it doesn't benefit the huge companies more ??
