So... you're complaining about how long it takes to sail from place to place... on a game that's about pirates and sailing from place to place?

@Whitehawk If they never add a snapping feature, the best advice I can give is to set up a ladder on our base facing the direction you want your shipyard to face, then use your K camera so you cannot turn. That will line your shipyard up at the exact same angle.

I sincerely hope you're joking.

You are playing a Pirate Ship survival game...
There may be sarcasm in there but... I really can't tell.

I would love this as well. Wondering why I haven't put that into my post already.

Ark's speed-influenced Battle Royale, but Hurricanes for Atlas.

Getting pushed around your ship by placement-glitched tames is so annoying. Even getting pushed off of your ship.
Getting stuck underneath a wild, wandering elephant is very annoying as well.

@moozoo I could add this to my Suggestions for Ship Changes post, where @Aristocrates has suggested #11 and expand it with your suggestion & tag you for credit. What do you think?

I too am a small-group PvE player. My company is comprised of 3-5 people, and only 2 of us really enjoy the game to play every day. I work 10 hours a day. I cannot stand coming home from work and seeing all of my work destroyed. I have no patience for PvP.

This is how I see it. PvP players have an entirely different mindset and play-style from PvE players. You could almost say they're psychologically completely different types of human beings. and I 100% agree with @UnknownSystemError when the PvP player says, "Don't like eating shit, just eat the half that isn't covered." Because that statement, in other words, has been said to me by many PvP players, especially recently, since the PvP server is the only one open.
PvE player: "Bro, could you not? I'm obviously not fighting back. Just trying to have a good time."
PvP player: "bRo, cOUld YoU nOT? Don't like it? Get off the server."
You cannot mix the two. It does not, and will not ever work. If it's attempted, players left and right will be breaking verbal abuse rules and reporting other players and nothing will ever get done because you cannot change the internet. Most PvE players are friendly, sharing and helpful. Most PvP players have their guard up 95% of the time because they don't know who is friend or who is foe. On another note, I have played 10+ rented ark servers and 5 or more rented Atlas servers... the PvP is always the same. Trash talk and completely wiping the other tribe/company until they stop trying and stop playing, thus ruining the game for the other side and the community loses yet another player, or more.
PvP players have their side of the bed, and PvE players have their side. Leave it alone.- 4

I love. Love. Love. #1 and #2. Yes, please.

I think this is a great idea. Brings more people together, allowing for social interaction for making new friends, joining new companies or possibly making new enemies. Lol

Removed some suggestions which were implemented and/or are coming in future updates. Thank you all for posting your suggestions here and helping to improve the quality of life on the seas.

2. Repair All Structures
3. Unseat All Crew
4. Man Your Stations

I think this suggestion is a step in the right direction regarding ships. As far as I know, on PvP servers, players just build ships designed to sink others' without even attempting to board and steal... yet we were lead to believe this was going to be an important mechanic of ships and ship battles.

Are you saying this already works? The letter O will turn on and off lights on ships?

1 minute ago, IcyAxe said:But for example sleepers on the ship still count. He still counts toward a crew member. Usually I had throw them overboard if that issue arises, but now its impossible.
I can definitely see the problem here.

1 minute ago, IcyAxe said:Hey, I think the sleepers replication part needs to be returned, I have suddenly so much issues saving my friends from holes, until now there was a way to drag them out while they were sleeping...or in case they crashed/disconnected I was able to loot their bodies...
I suggest having personal lockers to put everything, or valuables, away into when logging out to prevent loss of items when this happens.

IF the system works properly, yes. But nevertheless, if this 1 person is online, they can contest the claim all they want. and Claiming land still takes MANY hours, so it wouldn't be hard for this 1 person to stop them every few hours.

8 minutes ago, Lailyn said:I would like to ask why claim flag isn't limited for every player? Like 1 Player can set 3 Flags and if u want more Claim u need to be in a Crew.
I agree with Lailyn, here. I think the better solution would be a limit of flags per character. This would stop 1 person from claiming entire islands on PvE, knowing they will never use this land, but are only claiming it to have an entire island to themselves. While the more flags the person owns would reduce the timer, it's still ridiculous. Want more land? Recruit people or join a larger company. This would also give more incentive to have larger crews, rather than playing solo.
I understand the mindset of playing solo. I'm nearly solo myself. I work a full-time 40, sometimes 50 hour a week job and this is why I play on the PvE server. I own 1 flag, and that's that. I do not want more land. But it pains me to see others looking for land to just start a base and begin settling down and building a fleet of ships... but can't because there is no land left to claim and one person owns entire islands...

1 hour ago, Robotukas said:I see thanks. Maybe it would help if you post actually screenshot with coordinates or map location. So for server team, it would be easy to trace location. But probably you need to post in the support section. I saw the same thing on another island with symbols ????. But they didn't do anything yet.
I wrote Shrewdale Island, I9. And I wrote:
cheat TP I9 206406 -279131 8678
Which is the Dev Team's admin command to teleport there.

I agree with the idea of charging a fee to anchor in your territory, but not with not being able to anchor at all in someone else's territory. My company has built a port for others to anchor safely in.

11 hours ago, Robotukas said:You can see actually company who made if you get closer. Post screenshot of that because they are wasting server resources
OP said the Company name shows up as "????" and I can confirm this.

Webhooks: New Field - Settler Notifications
in Feedback and Suggestions
Posted · Edited by Sovereign Snow
Spelling error.
Right now if you were to make an Atlas Notification channel in discord for Settler Notifications, your channel would be flooded with "[name here] demolished a..." and "Crew member [name here] was killed!"
Can we have a separate webhook notification field just for settler notifications?
