this happened to me several times as well. It seems to happen when i walk across the edge of a ramp that leads to the lower deck when the ship goes full speed.

i dont want to be a fucking settler slave for noone and i want to do my own thing without someone permitting me to do so. I want to be a free captain sailing the atlas but i cant do so if i have to build a new ship every fucking week. you know how much time it takes for a solo player to build a fucking brig?

yeah that could very well be because it was an island faced plank that was destroyed. Yeah great, when they changed the time you could keep a ship in freeport to 24h i really thought i could play this game but with that change undone and the "peace-claim-system" being basically worthless to me as a solo player with long off times during the day because of work and claim owners can sink my ship anytime they want, i rather quit again before i got to deep into it.

From what i understood from the patch notes of the new claiming system was that a ship that´s fully anchored to an island in peace phase should not ne able to get damaged. But when i logged on recently my ship was nearly sunk because someone destroyed a plank though the ship was fully anchored to an island with more than 5 hours peace remaining. So my ship is not safe when anchored next to island in peace phase?

so anyone has ever seen one player shop in the game so far?

So i built a shooner today and want to anchor at a settlement that has a peacetime till tommorow which will keep me save (at least i hoped so). I drop the anchor at the settlement but in the top right of the screen it says "NOT FULLY ANCHORED". Does it mean i am not save then?

from what i saw they are mostly statues or some kind like that with a very small shield radius. But even if you manage to find them in most cases they wont trigger anyway because you need to place a chair (but you cant in claimed territory) or need to be ko´d to get them .. i quit doing discoveries until they fix that shit FIX THAT SHIT!!!!

this is the major issue why i quit playing this game as well. i tried freeports but unfortunately the 8 hours you can park a ship there isnt enough to cover the 11,5 hours i am out at work ..

and yes it does count at least for weight because i get encumbered when i was packed to the edge and not encumbered before. It usually will reappear when i return to main menu and relog but sometimes it doesnt and you have to travel to another sector and relog to eventually get it back ..

what skill do you mean?

i tried equipping the map to bar and now it works. And i thought just equipping the map from the inventory to hold it directly in front of my face, blocking nearly all of my sight was enough. Man was i stupid ..

so it need to be in the 0 slot and not in the inventory?

Been to 5 treasure map locations so far and though i searched the whole islands i never got any marker and therefor never got any chest. What am i doing wrong or is this just bugged?

So pls clarify if i got that right: Big enough groups can go to the fountain of youth every month at the age of 90+ to get a cumulative stat buff and i as a hearing impaired solo player can not only not get it alone but also get a significant permanent stat debuff? i will quit this game instantly

i did it multiple times so i know how it works but nothing happens when i press "E" or click to craft ..

well it was definitely the right islands and i searched them as a whole twice with no red beacon to appear anyone knows how precise the marker on the treasure map actually is?

Took the long trip to 2 map locations only to find that there is nothing there. Pretty frustrating ..

went to A4 EU PVP but its even worse there, 230 average ping and sailing is like a slideshow ..

ping is constantly around 200ms, next to unplayable, no fun at all
