  1. Nope, Grapeshot is like a dog, you gotta push their nose in their own poop immediately after they take their crap!
  2. Definitely reduce the damage to stone by a lot or increase the cost of siege ammo and explosive materials to make it fair.
  3. Lol, talk about wasting resources to build that one by one....sheesh!
  4. Inconceivable! The Freeports are now selling loot boxes that offer a chance to win sap!
  5. OK, I just made several stone bases overtop many of the sap nodes on my island. Now I got something to trade on the market. Thanks Grapeshot
  6. F You, I am a solo player as well and I have no problem farming to build things. It is the best part about the game to me. I love building, what the hell gives you the right to tell us solos what is "too big to build"?
  7. How about metal? What are we all cavemen, we cannot figure out how to build with metal?
  8. What the hell are you talking about? I don't care about prior to the patch, I am talking about after the patch. Now stone is so easy to destroy in comparison to the costs to reconstruct stone structures. Small companies are F'ked and mega companies will just build impenetrable barriers around the small sap resource nodes preventing the rest of the server from access. If you are lucky they will sell it for extortion rates on the new vendor system at the Freeports, woo hoo!
  9. Holy crap!...WTF Grapeshot?! So now it is freaking ridiculously cheap to blow up stone bases and you made it extremely hard, nearly impossible for most players to acquire the necessary resources to build stone structures? Soon, mega tribes are just going to turtle up and build barriers around the SAP resource, effectively raping the rest of the server. Way to poop on your faithful player-base!
  10. "You guys have cell phones right?".....Another clueless company!! Nice work grapeshot, I am very excited to see what the next patch will be, it seems you are on a roll to self destruct the game. Clearly, you do not play your own game otherwise you'd make stop making patches while drunk.
  11. PVP you say? Wait until all of the biggest companies decide to build up barriers and defensive points effectively cutting all of the lesser companies from getting to the caves to complete the quests? This is not such a great idea at all.
  12. It is extremely obvious that the DEVS do not actually play their game, they may quickly run it in a controlled dev environment to ensure that their code is functioning as intended but they clearly do NOT play this game themselves, otherwise they'd see all of the bull crap and broken thought process that is experienced while playing the game. Shame on you Grapeshot! We already had to waste a crapload of points down the construction tree to get to stone building in the first place, now we need to acquire crazy materials to build them too?!
  13. How many 90-year-olds do you know that could honestly run through a cave, jump over and dodge critters, and fight giant cyclops? Sounds like Geriatric Olympics to me and a lot of broken hips! No, the AGE system absolutely has no place in this game. Check this thread out and see why:
  14. I certainly hope that the devs reconsider the AGE system as it is currently. It really has no place in an online PVP MMORPG as dying isn't entirely under our full control...server lag, players using exploits, crashes, buggy code, erratic and broken AI, getting stuck in the mesh, falling through the mesh, player ping deferential, desyncing, etc... Eating balanced meals and watching out for predators is one thing but why should we get punished for the kinds of deathly events that happen consistently and beyond our control? Also, why weren't we made aware that this was going to happen so we would have been more careful with our characters? The devs need a way to make this a beneficial choice and NOT a requirement. How about keeping the permanent bonuses for those brave and savvy enough to complete the quest but do not debuff others that choose not to go on this adventure? How about NOT have an AGE but use our levels. When your level reaches 100, then you go on this quest? Your character would remain at 100 levels but you would still earn those permanent quest buffs. The Fountain of Youth despawns way too fast to make it stable enough for the quest in the first place as it constantly despawns as many are trying to endure the quest in the first place generating a wild-goose-chase! Many players are reporting that they had to sail for about 4-8 hours trying to find and complete the Fountain of Youth quest. Screw that, I don't want to be forced to sail for 4-8 hours, sailing for only an hour is boring enough and an extreme waste of time, I certainly do not want to be forced to do it for 4-8 hours. All this age system has generated is NOT a quest but instead, a series of ships parked off the coast of all of the possible islands and players randomly respawning to each of their ships to see if the Fountain of Youth is up on that island. There is NO quest here, just a crapload of boat clutter on several islands and a large grouping of players mindlessly running a gauntlet of zerg runs into the caves. At this point, I ask you Grapeshot, what is the freaking point for this silly quest? This AGE system is utter bullcrap! I play video games for fun not for toil and punishment! Think this AGE system is going to be fun? Check these videos out and decide for yourselves!

  16. After sailing for about 4-8 hours trying to find that fountain?????? 17. No, you stay at 100 levels but you earn those permanent buffs. Like the prestige in COD Modern Warfare.
  18. How about NOT have an AGE but use our levels. When your level reaches 100, then you go on this quest?
  19. Well, he has a point, why have an "NA" or "EU" if there is no way to enforce/filter out individuals from connecting to those servers that are not from those regions? They certainly can do something about this and should have from the start. They could easily have their servers drop connections with pings that are above a certain threshold.
  20. The devs need a way to make this a beneficial choice and NOT a requirement. How about keeping the permanent bonuses for those brave and savvy enough to complete the quest but do not debuff others that choose not to go on this adventure?
  21. Also, why weren't we made aware that this was going to happen so we would have been more careful with our characters?
  22. Does it even makes any sense that a "90" year old person is actually capable of surviving a quest for "The Fountain of Youth"? What is this, Geriatric Olympics?
  23. If you want to see what kind of "fun" this age quest adds go check it out for yourselves but I for one would love this thing removed from the game as it has no place in an online game as dying isn't entirely under our full control...server lag, players using exploits, crashes, buggy code, erratic and broken AI, getting stuck in the mesh, falling through the mesh, player ping deferential, desyncing, etc... Eating balanced meals and watching out for predators is one thing but why should we get punished for the kinds of deathly events that happen consistently and beyond our control? I play video games for fun not for toil and punishment!
  24. It has no place in an online game as dying isn't necessarily under our full control...server lag, players using exploits, crashes, buggy code, erratic and broken AI, getting stuck in the mesh, falling through the mesh, player ping deferential, desyncing, etc... Eating balanced meals and watching out for predators is one thing but why should we get punished for the kinds of deathly events that happen consistently and beyond our control? I play video games for fun not for toil and punishment!
