  1. Your last update broke something, pings are ridiculous in some grids and it seems to have something to do with anchored ships near tames and bases. It would be bloody nice if you addressed it and fixed it instead of all of this fluff.
  2. @chriswkf - In windows 10 you need to open windows defender firewall with advanced security, go to inbound rules and create 2 new rules, one for ATLAS TCP and one for ATLAS UDP. You enter your ports where you see the 0's using either single port (5765, 5768, etc) or a range (12345-12350 just an example). Enter the ports that you have in your bat file. Hope this helps!
  3. @koosh22 - did you fix your issue? I resolved mine and am happy to share the solution to see if it will help you if you still need it?
  4. @chriswkf - the ports need to be open on TCP and UDP in both the windows firewall (assuming you are using windows) and in your router settings as well. As far as your second question goes, the first will solve it. If your ports aren't forwarded properly you will not be able to see your server in the list.
  5. Have you installed a loopback adapter and set it to your external IP address? Try 127.0.0.1 as your homeserver IP address and your external ip as the other grids address. It should resolve once you have the adapter installed. I am able to play on my own server hosted on my machine using this method
  6. @Jordiii - Not sure about that one mate, you might like to try logging on to the discord and seeing if someone with more knowledge could help you troubleshoot it. Sorry I couldn't help you
  7. Have you tried setting your home server IP to the same as the redis server? In my case, my home server needed to be on 127.0.0.1 and my second grid was 192.168.0.11. I was able to relog into the second grid without issues once that was changed. Hope that helps!
  8. @Nelson Sandalwood did you get this sorted? I managed to stumble upon a solution to mine and seeing as how ours were quite similar I thought it might work for you also
  9. Bump. Really need a hand if someone is willing, I am still having the same issue with the database not being populated.
  10. No mate, just a continual query error every single time =/ I can get back in using join new server, however, I am dead and back in the middle of the home server map while my raft is on the border.
  11. I managed to solve my issue of not being able to relogin with some help from JetFox on the discord channel. For anyone else that gets disconnected once they have travelled from their home server to another grid and can no longer log back into their server the following helped me. Set your homeserver IP to the same IP address that your redis server is connecting to. In my case that was 127.0.0.1. Change that in the json file as well as under seamlessip in the bat file. My second grid is running off 192.168.0.11 and I can log in without issue now. I am still having an issue with the redis DB not being populated properly though. I have no playerinfo DB. I am unsure how this will impact me at at later stage. This is how it looks:
  12. So after playing around with rates etc I have discovered an issue with my second grid server and I am not sure what the issue could be. I can log in and out when I am located in the home server and use the rejoin or join new to get back in. When I enter the second grid and log out I am unable to reconnect at all using rejoin or join new. I get a Network Failure Message: Unable to query server info for invite. Both servers are still running in the steam favourites and I can still see my server listed in the Atlas server list. Any ideas..please, please?
  13. Please delete this topic mods, upon further testing I realise the problem is much bigger and it is actually an issue with relogging into the second server after you log out.
  14. Hi mate, your tutorials are very informative and have helped me as far as map building goes so I wanted to thank you for that. I just tried your download link again in the prepped server video and it is still throwing up a 404 error.
  15. Happy to help when I can, just lucky it was inside my limited scope haha glad you have it up and running now, TEACH is the man!
  16. You have max players set as 25 and max reserved as 25 so it will show 0. You should change it to max players 25 and max reserved 15. Actually, I might be wrong on that. I'll wait for a correction before I edit it. I just didn't think your reserved slots could be the same as your available. But also I would delete the saved folder and flush redis as TEACH suggested to me so it reflects your new settings, that might help.
  17. You are an absolute legend, thanks so much! It is up and running without a hitch now! You really are true to your name, I appreciate it and if I can buy you a coffee/energy drink/beer for your trouble, please PM me your paypal address it should be ServerPVE=True not bServerPVE=True, I think TEACH did a typo.
  18. Okay so I tried myself. I added another grid, populated it with islands, ship paths etc. I changed the details in the bat to reflect different ports and co-ords while keeping everything else exactly the same. The world loads, I can see my server in the game server browser and join it. I can see it in my favourites, however, I can only see the home server and not the second grid server. I have 5755-5764, 57555-57564, 27000-27021 open in my windows 10 firewall as well as router port forwarding. The home server is on Port: 57561 Game Port: 5761 and SeamlessDataPort: 27000(your settings) and IP 192.168.0.11. The new grid that I added has the following properties - Port: 57562 Game Port: 5762 SeamlessDataPort: 27001 and IP 192.168.0.11. When I am in game and head to the new grid it is unable to query server info. I checked that port 57562 was showing on canyouseeme and it is. I am stumped. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks very much!
  19. Hmm it might have me on the cores, I have more than enough RAM though. 1x2 would probably be the way to go on my home server, but I would be able to run 2x2 at work
  20. Hi TEACH, this is the first guide that has managed to get me up and running so for that I thank you! I entered the same information into it all previous times and the only difference between all those and yours was that I used a 2x2. I could get the server running, I just could not get it to show up in the server list. I tried yours out of sheer frustration and it worked!! Would you have a 2x2 template by any chance please, I am not quite sure how to go about editing yours to incorporate into a bigger map or if that is even possible? I am willing to paypal you a coffee or energy drink boost for the trouble of course!
  21. Hello all! Thanks to the troubleshooting of many in this thread I was able to finally get my server.bat to start without any errors, however, I am unable to see my server in the server list. I imagine it is a port issue and would be very appreciative if someone could go a little more in depth than what ports need to be open. For example TCP/UDP? I am running Windows 10 so can I just do it in firewall settings or does it have to be at the router level? Any help would be appreciated, cheers EDIT: Just so you know what I have done so far, I have TCP/UDP enabled on ports 57555 and gameport is 5755 and seamless data port 27000. In my server bat settings there's QueryPort and Port is that port and game port respectively?
