Maybe the new sail is obstructed, because you have some structures on the lower decks, which blocking the placement. On my schooner i have built the smithy so close on the old sail, so the smithy blocks the new sail. After i destroyed the smithy, i was able to place the new sail.

Try to use pillars instead of doorwalls. Since we use pillars, we find always a good feedingspot in front of the animal.

We need a negative reputation button in the forum. If you dont like the game, just quit and try it again when it is released. Or stays someone behind you, holds a gun on your head and forces you to play the game?

Ah, ok. Our base is in the tundra biome and we used wood components. I have tried something yesterday, like mate inhouse, mate outdoor, on floors, on the ground. During that, it was day and night. Next time i will check the temperature und build some campfire around the chicken. Thanks for the the hint. Edit: I mated my chicken on midday and two campfires. Now it works. Thanks @Ankhwearer

Hallo pirats, i'm trying to mate chicken. But when i enable wandering, they dont mate. Just this icon is on the female chicken. Anyone knows what this icon means?
