  1. I am sorry you are in a bad spot... resources should be spread out. I REALLY dont like the metal requirement or the change as a whole myself. But hell it is testing.
  2. Its okay I dont have coral either and I live in a temperate zone.. I looked.. I have Jute, and pearls... I can just see my frame rates dropping in that first picture.

I didn't attack him on his grammar, and I dont care if she is a female gamer, my comment stands. You can have a number 1 hit comedy on Comedy Central, I dont care. You I can tell are a complete and absolute waste of 23 pairs so I am going to leave you to simmer in your anger. Peace be on to you.

HAHAHAHAHA, you were the one who started with the personal attacks, with your "Get a goddamned life." As for the last part, I didn't even know she is a woman. Oh well it my comment stands. Lastly, keep trying to impress me with your "ninja" school. As Shania Twain said "That dont impress me much."
  5. I am just offering ideas. Ultimately it is up to you to choose to act. You can either be a victim and sit there and wallow in yourself pitty or you can take action.
  6. You can make organic paste out of choral too.... that just requires a bit of diving.
  7. Probably on Amazon, it looks like the Jack Sparrow "knock off" costume.
  8. You have wood right? Your wood is different than the wood found in the temperate zone, same for your stone, and your metal, you may have iron, or tin, or copper, when another region may have silver or platinum. If your place sucks THAT bad, then you may want to consider moving in with another person and working together to survive on a better place.
  9. Who actually pays attention to the board? My company isnt even ON the board and we control 4 sectors now.
  10. What factions in EVE? The main 4 Gallente, Caldari, Amarr, Minmatar? Those factions are for fluff reasons ONLY, they only have Faction Warfare which has been ignored by CCP for years. Other than that EVE caters to the mega corps out in Nulsec which control the player council which meet with CCP twice year to discuss the direction of the game.
  11. When I lived in the tundra I had potatoes on my island without digging, I could pick them and get seeds. As for dying vs eating.. that is another issue and I agree with you there. But look to trade your regional resources with other smaller companies and see if they are willing to work together. Form a trade pact of non-aligned companies.
  12. The point is... TRADE... You dont have sap up north, but you have cotton, potatoes and other things that people may want. So you setup a trade deal with a group that has sap but not the other things or are looking for different regional materials for higher end blueprints. It is the MIDDLE of the day in the MIDDLE of the week.
  13. Not really an opinion. When most of my company mates go out to raid, they rarely head to big company lands but to smaller companies they know they can quickly overwhelm and crush. It is the same in almost EVERY game I have played like this.
  14. Fun fact... The United States of America's first major export was timber.... We supplied the French and the Spanish HUGE amounts of timber in their war with England back in the 1800s.
  15. Fun fact... "megatribes" or uber-companies actually spend MORE time crushing the little guys because well it is easier.
  16. One man's art is another man's trash.

    solo player

I know it sucks for casual players, like myself, but that is the nature of games like this. I was once a VERY hardcore sandbox gamer who could and would spend 20+ hours in a game at a time. But now I am lucky if I can spend 3 hours at a time online any given day. Furthest I have sailed has been 2 tiles in any one direction and back. I would love to go further see more but I dont have the time. Not with maintaining the base, the ships, my crew, and dealing with real life.
  18. I am a strong believer in the EVE rule, fly what you can afford to lose. This is the same here, build what you can defend and replace. Dont go ham trying to build a scale replica of Lower Manhattan because you can, and then get mad because someone drives by and obliterates it because it is a laggy eye sore.
  19. I doubt it is 1000 servers, more like 1000 blades. And it also depends on the architecture they are running. If it is like CCP and EVE, you can have several "zones" running on one server blade until it is needed then it will pull resources from other blades as demands increase.
  20. No offense but that is a HUGE project for a solo player and no reason to have something that big.
  21. More servers is not the answer. Having a code in place to clean up the abandoned crap is better.
  22. After the fight we had this past weekend I have to disagree with you on how cheap it is to blow up a stone base. We made over 400 mortar shots, used EVERY ONE OF THEM to take down the base we were attacking, and we only used them on structures with people IN them. Then you have the 300 large cannon ball shot we used, the 600 medium cannon ball shots, the 200 grapeshot... the countless miniball, and carbines... yes cheap..... it took us over 7 hours to take a defended fort from another company that had layered their defenses.
  23. Sad.... but probably true.
