yeah only way i see being able to beat the powerstone islands is by cheesing it (standing on top of inaccessible rocks or flying around with glider suits) or if you bring 50 people with good aim and carbine rifles to shoot at the same time.. as of right now, fire elementals seem impossible to kill even with a group of 5 good players.. 5 headshots would probably bring it to 80% life then it'll heal a second later and kill your whole group in a few seconds

only useful melee weapon is the pike for fighting stuff under water. Shields make u move slower than a salted slug and drains stamina too fast, plate armor offers almost no protection so trying to melee anything means you're going to die. if you don't use flame arrows or guns you're severely gimping yourself. i tried speccing all the way to the bottom with 2handed maces and it was a huge waste of skill points.. good luck meleeing anything on the powerstone islands when they run 4x faster than normal monsters and kill you in 2 hits

seems fine to me, really fast cannonballs would make ship battles kinda dumb

i'd love to see him try soloing a boss on H6.. the fire elementals will camp his boat and oneshot him from 100 yards away, they are insane

i thought of that.. but they shoot fireballs through the ocean and fly high in the sky above you.. not sure that's possible. fucking flintlocks do like 10 damage to fire elementals and they heal it back in 0.5 seconds then oneshot u from 100 yards away while flying through the sky

no, melee is trash. basically fire arrows, guns, and artillery are the only useful weapons

NOPE, they will oneshot you. fire elementals take like 10 damage from flintlocks, regenerate health really fast, and oneshot you. the wolves run 4x faster than you, attack 3 times per second and kill you in 2 hits (3 hits with useless plate armor). it's literally impossible to progress on the power stone islands right now unless you're in a group of like 50+ people all with good aim and carbines

im in H6 and a fire elemental keeps killing me in one hit, i hit it for like 14 damage with a flintlock and then it regenerates really fast.. no idea what to use to kill it =/

is it possible they destroyed the rock and then climbing picked through the hole? you can climbing pick through windows. also, if your body was close to the wall they could've targetted you and looted you that way.
