Thanks to devs for putting consequences on the cheaters and exploiters. Thanks for fixing some of the kraken and yeti exploits. Now to fix the meshing, dupping and armor exploit bugs, not to mention all the other ones... It’s a great first step and shows you’re watching. Hopefully you start banning anyone who exploited them next and take a no tolerance approach for the future.

All kidding aside. If they want us to spend more time at sea there needs to be stuff to do out at sea. I’m anxious to see what they have in store!

So the fact they fixed the exploit AND announced it as an exploit in patch notes means it was a viable way to get experience? No, it was an exploit. A way to get experience that was not intended and people “exploited” it. Look up the definition of exploit it’s not “doing it the right way and everyone else is just jealous of your awesomeness...” So if you have a different experience of what an exploit is, great. Devs called it an exploit so us saying ban the exploiters is our opinion of something that’s already a fact. People who used the expoits.... are exploiters and cheaters. End broadcast. The exploiters were camped all Weekend on these areas getting max level and killing anyone they saw. They leveled their tames and themselves. Devs, you can’t let these cheaters ruin this season days into it. Major companies have folded this season already because of the exploits. Ban them or erase companies of cheaters and exploiters. Make them start over and do it right. Ban anyone duping. Ban anyone using aim bot. The majority of your player base that isn’t using these exploits and cheats are up in arms and the “well then cheat too” mentality just means the game players have no faith in you anymore. Earn it back. Please... If the only way to be relevant or survive this season is to cheat... well I guess there’s always next wipe... but that’s a horrible way for your player base to be thinking barely a week into the season.

God yes please. The oceans feel so dead out there. as it is now most people I know just set sail and go AFK and do something else while sailing. It doesn’t all have to be dangerous. Just things to explore and discover. Mini games out at sea. add: different kinds of fish more kinds of sharks different whales Mermaids/men would be cool Ravenous sea cucumbers! urchins trench monsters more underwater caves and things to discover out there Ship wrecks should have unclaimed crew you can rescue alphas rabid sea gulls?

Not correct. Are you saying everyone is cheating? Cause my clans over 50 people and none of us are using the exploits and we’ve seen the huge list. Why would you want people who are cheating playing anyway? They chase off so much of the player base... I don’t want to see good people run off by cheaters this season like they were last. Heck, these people are exploiters, you know as well as I they’ll just exploit and start another new character and then have to do it without exploits or be banned again, so win win!

I totally agree.... Ban anyone exploiting or dupping during the new season. Take a no tolerance approach... There’s a bunch who are knowingly doing it and bragging that they can do whatever they want. They need to add consequences. And ban people who were using the exploits... don’t just fix them. Sure they fixed one of the exploits last night, but it was too late. It had already been used to get the exploiters to level 100+. The fact their exploitation is just going to be ignored is a kick in the teeth for all the people who have been on nearly 24/7 since S4 launch doing it the right way.

So I play official pvp on Xbox and my boyfriend plays PC. We’d been playing together for the last few weeks until today I went over and happened to see what our base looks like through his pc.... and wow...... half the landscape is missing on Xbox! And I don’t mean render distance. I mean stuff right in front of you. Stuff you’re standing on or standing next to. He shows tons of huge rocks all dotting the cove and throughout the bay and land masses on the island. I see none of those on XBOX. I was swimming on top of a huge rock. Swimming... and he showed me standing on that rock. To me there was nothing there. We both stood in that same spot with my game pulled up on the the tv and his pulled up on the computer right next to it. Half the things he sees right straight in front of him are completely missing on Xbox. No wonder people keep complaining about invisible rocks. They exist...

Since the crew limit update a wild seagull flying by landing on your ship will sink it as they are being counted as crew.
