Atlas is much better with ships fighting other ships at sea etc. than blowing a plank or 2 off of an anchored ship whose owner is offline Let them damage whatever they want if a ship is unprotected, but for the sake of fun it should not sink if anchored It's not the most realistic solution but a 15ft tall ship anchored in 3 feet of water sinking isn't very realistic either

Combat phase is too long. It should be 6 or 7 hours. There is value in making a game playable for people who do other things too A very average person with a job can not be available for 9 hours straight. A company all based in the same country (obviously USA) should not be expected to be online for that long. This is assuming the point of peace phase is to prevent offline raiding. A company should also not be required to recruit people from multiple companies in order to cover the combat time slot Obviously my island was raided last night for a couple of hours after we went to bed (because we are productive members of society) and all of our ships were destroyed. The alternative of combat phase starting 3 hours before we would be home in the afternoon is not really any better Sure, it's pvp mode but fighting npc crew and anchored ships is not pvp. There is no npc setup that can stop just a few players from destroying *at least* all of your ships even for a couple of hours

The 9 hour combat phase prevents localized companies that are in the same time zone from stopping offline grief. Taking over islands should not be easy, and should not be done while the owners are offline. Mathematically, people who work typically work 8 to 9 hours. That's 6am to 3pm or 8am to 5pm (approx). This means the best you can do to prevent offline grief is combat phase of 3pm to 12am. You are forcing people who work at 8 in the morning to be up until midnight defending their island every night, or else all of their ships can be destroyed with nobody to defend (on most islands) Combat phase of 4pm to 11pm (7 hours) is perfectly manageable for productive members of society Huge companies fighting each other can already use war tokens to take over islands. If you can't take an island in 7 hours and don't want to use a war token then you probably don't deserve the island

Hello Pirates and deck hands! This takes place on C-12 in the US PvE server. My friends and I are loving the game and have about 40-50 hours each in the game. We want to continue enjoying the game in PvE but with all the people glitching into bases we cant seem to have a reason to continue playing the game for much longer. The repair hammer patch was a start but as for people using Climbing Tools to glitch through windows is absurd. People say "Just get of the windows" which is a temporary fix. For us though we have a couple of people in our group that love building and making their houses, castles etc look amazing with different designs that we shouldn't be limited to just having walls with doors. The people that are griefing/glitching into the base try and justify it as to that the Climbing tools are part of the game and everyone else it doing it when clearly we aren't nor are the other people that were talking in chat about the whole situation. We asked them to stop because obviously glitching isn't part of the game. They continued to do it and mock us every time we ask them to stop. They said that they will continue doing it until it gets fixed. We are not the only group that is suffering from this and everyone is pretty much fed up with it. Here is a link to the conversation about the whole ordeal. Hopefully we can get something done about this. https://imgur.com/a/Kif8hIb
