So we have this properly set (primarily so we can claim/build on the ice dungeon island on our cluster)… but here is what has now happened: 1) We are able to claim and build on the ice dungeon island 2) Every time the server reboots, EVERY STRUCTURE on the island is wiped off the island with no trace or entry in the log!!! This cannot be intended, never mind the loss of resources etc And, the irony, all beds etc. still appear in the map (but u obviously cant travel to them)
  2. I am fine with that... just gimme what is supposed to be there. Full speed ahead, f the icebergs! NOTE: not a real concern cause I want this the most for the transport gally that is now moving at turtle speed thanks to the container speed nerf. For all other ships, I am ok with the risk too though - know the map and everyone should be fine
  3. How hard can it be to actually activate the promised max velocity?? It's already baked into the assembled sail!
  4. @Remo pretty sure that is the weird speed bonus u see on some armor BPs. that was definitely not sails... sails max velocity is the culprit I am griping about BIG TIME /cough Seriously here, I am not even debating sail redesign or anything else... JUST GIVE THE CURRENT SAILS THE MAX VELOCITY PROMISED BY THE BP!!!
  5. @Jatheish can u guys PLEASE prioritize getting the upgraded large speed sails ACTUALLY delivering the speed promised by the blueprints??? With the new cargo container speed penalty, this is pretty darn critical!
  6. think I figured it out... basically to get the indoor water pipe to work, u need a nearby underground water pipe... then u run regular pipes from that indoor water pipe outlet around the inside of your base. It is a bummer cause the water reservoir wont let you run either of these 2 critical structures, so forget clean snap construction unless u have a real fresh water source nearby.
  7. I cant get anything to snap to any building structure EXCEPT for the indoor water pipe, which only wants to snap to foundations.... BUT it requires a pipe WITH water to even place!!! Hello?? HTH are we supposed to get an external water-filled pipe running perfectly into the building so that this Indoor Water Pipe will actually place???
  8. Does anyone know if there is a way to undo the crab nerf setting? Our cluster would much prefer the original (or even a less drastic jump nerf). @Jatheish - Is there some way for private servers to adjust this?
  9. Just give us a way to adjust this on the private servers... not going to argue with what you decide to do on officials, but dear gawd, we should not have to suffer the overswing of the nerf bat on private servers (remember the sales pitch you made for crabs)

  11. Seriously, the crab now has become a gimmick instead of something truly useful!! Never mind what needed to be done to prevent overloaded jumps, but now the crab cant even jump at all if its at 70% of its weight??! This is so freakin dumb! Make a small adjustment, but don't obliterate the tame like that. Assuming you keep this insane nerf on officials, can you please provide a way for us to adjust this on private servers to where we want it??
  12. The under-grid building is definitely something to keep an eye on, but does enabling no-collision building still allow someone to build into land they do not own?
  13. Since the last mini-patch or two, one of our PS islands (the eastern tundra one) has had a massive increase in creature spawn.... has anyone else noticed this? We currently have 3 bosses up at the same time too!
  14. Soooo personal confession time... I thought our server was bugged and the giant squids simply didn't spawn. Little did I know how much of the game went "unseen" beneath the ocean surface. We killed the Kraken (some lived, some died in good pirate fashion), and now folks have the submarine. Wow there is a lotta cool stuff down there, and all kinds of big creatures too!! Common over to Thor's Hammer and experience the best of Atlas, where it is setup for folks with real lives and surrounded by an awesome community of friendly folks.

  16. Was very excited to craft the very best large speed sails we had for our new gally…. average speed boost on all 6 speed sails is 175%. I am thinking this will be total boss. I take the ship out for some crew/exp and notice that my actual sailing speed is no faster than what I get on our non-upgraded gally, which also has 6 speed sails. Assuming a strong wind, the non-upgraded gally, with 50% or less weight, gets into the 18-19 knot range. So does the new mythic galley. I must be missing something =( Anyone else notice this??
  17. Anyone know how we can replace one default resource on one or two islands with another version? For example, we have basalt coming out the ears, and would like to replace it with obsidian if all possible... ideally this should be done just from the servergrideditor using sublevels or spawnoverrides or something along those lines? For example, someone has mentioned that obsidian appears on the MNT_W_WU island... could we just take the sublevels from that island and add them to our island MNT_J_WU? Not sure if anyone has tried this, but dayam the lack of specific resource spawn really makes hosting a pain
  18. We really need something that is effective against the $#$#$@$ fire elementals (wth inspired these titans of neverkill??). Also, this would be a great aid in fighting fires on ships
  19. TBT and time to get ready for another awesome Altas weekend. Frustrated by officials? Have a real life that you want to balance with your gaming? Wishing you could play a survival game but WITHOUT the jerks/grief that is virtually guaranteed?? If any of these strike a chord, stop by our Thor's Hammer cluster!!
  20. OMG soooo drained from the mixer last nite… Frozen Nuts closed out the post-ghostship sinking with an awesome rendition of Still of the Night. Not sure how Kea ended up in the Mystic Mayhem ladies' brig hold in handcuffs, but I guess this is pretty standard fare for the Canadians
  21. Make the coming weekend really count for something! Join us on the Thor's Hammer cluster - great community, events, and spring formals with the C1 band called Frozen Nuts cranking out everyone's favorite 80s and 90s music!!
  22. Found out the upgraded shipyards have hard-caps on levels that come from officials /boggle. For now, just use plain shipyards if you want to see your normal max lvls available to ships. You gotta think they can fix the code so the max lvl is relative rather than absolute.
