Big difference: When creating the team I have choice which team to join. This is 5 minut deal to enter the team, talk and leave. In this game it is very different: I land to the island, I spend days of my time just to figure out that "boss is bad on this island". And the main difference: I DON"T Have CHOICE. In "all other games" I have choice: create my own team or join other team. Or play solo. In this game I have no choice, as thee are not enough lands for everyone. In this game many ppl prefer solo play. This is very natural for the natur of the ppl, who love this sort of games. And we want to have choice. After all: Atlas is really nice game, I only criticise claim system. P.S. And luck of support, of course. P.P.S And "Early accesss" in this game is a big lie. Obviously. LOL!!!!

Hello, is there way to remove grass from showing inside houses?

NA PVE release happen at about 10.30PM PST. When most of the united states was asleep. Claiming the island is a few hours business, so when we wake up in the morning, most of the interesting islands was alredy claimed. So the choice was not sleep weekend night or lost last chance to claim the land. Good job!!!

Taxed or not taxed, there are Land Lords, and Peasants. Owners and "all other ppl". Do you really want to be "all other ppl" in the game? For fun? Is that fun for you to be "others"? Seriously? The problem here comes from the fact, that developers pay all attention to PVP, and trying to apply "the same solution" to PVE. However, while this system is good and fully makes sence on PVP, it make no sence on PVE. IMHO not at all. At the moment I am happy: I AM LAND LORD. I feel good and don't want to lost MY PROPERTY. Everybody are welcome to live on MY LAND. I will be good LORD to you and to MY LAND. Enjoy MY OWNERSHIP. P.S. I don't know how else to explain my feelings so last sentence suposed to demonstrate why I don't like this "solution", and I did not meant to hurt anyone. Sorry.

Instead of doing such a stupid things, they would better schedule the date and time, comfortable for all US time zones, and anonnce it for US PVE release.... no, they will rushm doit asap and release in the middle of the night, so ppl in one time zone will have advantage agains all other ppl..... really" smart" guys!

this is bug, it will be fixed. And you will pay taxes. Which I hate to have in game. Game live should be perfect: no age, no tax, no landlord. Bringing all those in the game make it realistic and not that fun.

As far as I udnerstand, NA Empire is shutting down about now. So, is there ETA when NA PVE will be opened? Is that today? Tomorrow? What exactly hour?

You probably had chance to claim the island and happy. So you would never agree with other, who had no chance to claim island for themselves...

I don't want landlord on top of me in th game. what is unclear with that? Ability to set tax on you only flagged piece of land adding a bit of fun to the game. Nothing special. Example: imagine polar region and you flag the only spot with trees (they are rare there).And then you enjoy free wood resources : - ) WIth 1 pillar per person there will be enought land for everyone. Everyone will be able to own piece of land, sowe all will be equal, we all will be landlords. No slavery.

The issue lays in developer's approach: they care about PVP and designing game for PVP. Then they just trying to adopt and reuse PVP design for PVE. And this is incorrect. This is developer's mistake: PVE not always can use the same game mechanics as PVP. How I would see right appoach: claim flags as before wipe. But only 1 flag per person. No additional bonuses to company. Cokmpany benefit from number of memebrs. Claim owner can determine tax and can allow/prohibit other player buildings. Unclaimed land - eveybody can build. Once build - structure can't be removed by land owner. If eventually existing/new owner prohibit construction - other player who already own buldings in the zone can continue construction without expanding. or Just use lawless (ARK-like) approach. This will cause pillars spawn and it is worse then 1 flag claims, but it is defintely better then what we have now. I COME TO GAMING TO BE FREE OF LANDLORS AND BOSSES! ENOUGH OF THOSE IN RL! GIVE US WHAT WE WANT! FREEDOM! FREEDOM! DREEDOM!!!

So, what this istuation is? Is that island compeltely gone fo me? It is saying "Contested" , should I continue waiting there?

But I was claiming for over 4 hours! VArious ppl was coming in and out, trying to claim, leaving. etc. They all are in logs. But the company, that got the island neer appear in log. Why? How it is possible?

Hello, I came today to claim unclaimed island. I start claiming, paid money. My claim came to 15 minutes left. At this moment, I got message "Your claim interrupted" and now some other comany own the island. I was near the flag for over last 4 hours, no offline, no deaths, always on. What is that? After this "good" and "quality" "early access" it make sence to just shut down the game. Anyway, they already sold lot of boxes, not many will probably buy it in the future., P.S. Imagine how will feel ppl how buy the game few days/week before the whipe? They enter in absolutley empty game ..... and everything get whiped next day. P.P.S. or even better: you buy the game, download, log in.... and first you see is "you wil lost everything tomorrow, welcome to our nice game, enjoy".

Would you, please, also explain 2 and 3rd? are they going to further decrease decay timer? Below 4 days? Damage decay added? Is that decay from first second after placement? Or after decay timer expire?is that related to special structure that they mentioned and u can stop decaying by adding resources to that special structure? Would it be possible to continue living in lawless same way as before? Much better than paying taxes and having some sort of bosses on u . Im really tired of bosses in rl. Also, if you are so good in uderstanding them, would you , pleaese, create alternative thread about patches and evrey time they publish patch notes translate and explain them? Would really appreaciate it.

Please read patch note carefuly: yes, there are timeout. Before it exipred, landlord can demolish it with one click. After timeout expired, landlord will have to demolish it manually, every block. Very, very hard work for someone, who can just want to extent his bad mood. Is that true that lawless zones will be removed from game?

Conan is not dead. I played pve solo few months ago, I never was alone. Dunno about pve though most of fun is accessible solo on pve

And you will pay him, call him "Master", bow to him, and L... his A... because otherwice hi will kick you out and destroy your base. Ability to destroy your base or anyhting on the island is really, really bad idea. It gives overpowered tool to the hands of random person.

I am playing World of Tanks, of course. That is what I always do in between of other games and instead of many games. BTW. if you did not tried Fallout76 = it is really good for, probably, a month or two. Conan Exiles is also very good but you will, probably, light speed throught it for ~1-2 weeks. My another findings is Factorio. I spend whole week in there. Got lot of fun.

Let make simple calcualtaion. Game world consist of 15х15 grid cells. 225 regions. Each region now have 3 islands (average). It going to have 4 islands per region after march 20th., 4*225=900 islands. To claim whole island you now need.... 100 ppl? 10ppl? no, just ONE PERSON. So, to claim ALL ISLANDS in ATLAS world we only need 900 ppl. Lets imagine (only theoretically), that there are group of ppl, everyone don't like them, and they don't like everyone in respond. And those ppl will decide to fuck up our game. These ppl .... there are A LOT OF THEM, much more then just 1000. And all they need to do is to come altogether and CLAIM ALL ISLANDS. Out of my personal experience, those ppl are very well orginized and they will come alltogether, well prepared, and will be helping each other. So After first hour of game play after match 1st, ALL ISLAND WILL BE CLAIMED BY ONE GROUP OF PPL. those ppl will not be officially in one ingame "compay" nor in one "aliance". They are together in real life. That is more than enough., AND THEY WILL HAVE RIGHT TO DEMOLISH ANY BUILDING ON THEIR ISLANDS. Do you think you will have a spot to build your very own base after that?

I just read this: If pve will share elements of the same as pvp claim system, that probably means that island owner can come and destroy everything that I build at any time. If this is true, it means Most of the ppl will still build on lawless zones just to protect theit assets and not be dependent on someone's bad mood. Be independent is most important part of pve. Having base is the core part of pve arc and atlas. Forcing us to become dependant from someone is really bad idea and killing the idea of pve and ingame fredom. I WANT FREDOM! SAY NO TO SLAVERY IN ATLAS! Developers, dont force us to be under someone's will. Free land to everyone!
