  1. Hello, Gliders have been acting weird since the v15 udpate. 50% of the time: When I place my glider on my hotbar i get the slow debuff but cant activate the glider. (have to un-equip and re-equip) worked pre v15 100% of the time: Cant reactivate a closed glider in midair. Not sure if this is intended but if i close the glider in mid air I cant reopen it, could do this before v15 50% of the time: Shift seems to have a huge delay when on the glider. Shift was super responsive pre v15 but now it feels like I'm fighting the glider if it even wants to work.
  2. I agree with this fully. The encumbrance system is already in place, there should be no need for weight damage on a PVE server. On PVP it isnt needed because if something is that weighed down then its a juicy target to sink and loot.
  3. Guess I should bring a truck, load it up with excavation equipment then.
  4. I would love a small gate that is angled like the roof door. Would make for a nice animal hold for a ship.
  5. Is there a feature in real life that I'm missing that requires me to go to my neighbors houses and root around in their gardens?
  6. I'm hoping there is more planned for the development for the animal breeding. I had some suggestions when you guys get around to those improvements. Shorten the whole breeding process. Waiting 10+ hours for the baby to be born, then spending 12+ hours trying to keep it alive is far to long. All this for an animal that will die to either an alpha that comes out of no where or some other unforeseen bug. Not everyone has 12+ hours to send in game even on weekends. I could see the process taking 2-4 hours of "difficult try to keep the baby alive time". There should also be an option for the parent animals to maintain the baby at no risk but for less of a buff to the offspring, as long as the baby stays within a certain distance of both parents or even a single one. . (After all animals have been caring for their own young far before humans were around. )
  7. Alliance chat can get a bit confusing if you have multiple alliances. As it stands right now if you have multiple alliances and someone is chatting there is little in ways to tell if its directed at your company or not. There should be an option to only broadcast to X alliance or Y alliance and to show this broadcast in the chat window. I could also see that its important to maintain the ability to broadcast to all alliance channels in case you are trying to organize some large event.
  8. I don't feel the latest change to prevent ship griefing is the right direction. Preventing players from stepping on other players ships ruins some of the experiences and immersion of the PVE servers. -You can't catch taxi rides to other islands from random players -You can't hang out randomly with non allied neighbors. -You cant check out other ships designs if they arn't allied Just to name a few scenarios I can think of 2 alternatives that would be better suited to resolve the weight issue. 1. Remove weight damage all together on PVE servers. There is already an encumbrance system in place to stop ships from moving when encumbered. This seems like more then punishment enough for packing to much stuff on your boat. 2. If you don't want to code anything special in, then reduce the rate the boats take damage when encumbered. Damage they take should 1% an hour or something low. So it will take a very long time to destory the ship. This will allow players to log on and deal with the situation if the griefers are dedicated enough to stay there for 100+ hours.
