Hello! For all you who want to remember all your best stuff and document it for posterity, I think we can post some pics here, post your best pic of what you created on EU Pve server. Also feel free to share your feelings on what you will miss, what you look forward to coming back after wipe and so on. I will share just a little bit of something that meant a lot to me, a "fortress" I built, and some loyal, loved tames. Feels a bit sad, but will rebuild even better after wipe, hopefully!

Good luck with the oil hunting If you go to polar region remember there's pretty harsh conditions there if not prepared. Climate, amd Can be quite many whales in waters so it can be Good to have a friend on standby for repair (bed fast travelling friend) if you accidentally get hit by whale. Also OP yetis on lots of islands, kind of hard to kill solo without bear/lion/ballista or something. Beaitiful areas tho. Good luck

Hello! Been looking around for flake salt in A15/C15, polar region, since wiki says it should be there.. No luck so far. Haven't checked every Island and every nook and cranny yet. Would love if someone could point me in the right direction, like which Island has the salt. I love exploring but would also love some info so I know I am not Barking up the completely wrong tree. (It's pretty rough Waters down here with all the whales etc.) Thanks!!

In polar region there is blubber oil from killing penguins, also naphta oil in nodes. (A15 and probably many other polar grids). In O10 there is crude oil (don't remember exact location but try Search online more info). Good luck!

Yes it happened to us too the other day, left ship anchored right by our shipyard to go farm, 10 minutes later ship is gone. We look for it on the map and find the ship bed and ship had moved to the border between grids, anchored even though in deep sea.. Luckily my friend quickly fast traveled to get the (newly built) ship safely out of there. Phew. It was real lucky we were so fast in noticing, or the ship would have been lost...

Hello! Congrats on making a good decision, to build in lawless first and have a base there for a while etc. While I can't give you a specific number on exactly how fast the wear and tear decay is, I can tell you about my experience on lawless. I started out with a friend, we made 2 bases plus one small hut base on lawless. All in wood. Friend quit so I had to manage the buildings alone. I logged in almost every day and each day there would be a little damage on a few walls (like needed 1 mars of each to repair). Maybe 3 out of 30 walls were damaged. Mostly from predators in the night. I didn't find the repairs to be much work at all, to be honest. It took a few minutes game time each day. Even when I logged out 2 Days, the damages werent big, just a few minutes repair. Now I am in a company so starting to have a bit of claimed land, but I was very happy at lawless too! A Word of advice, maybe keep a couple of different bases so that in case an Alpha animal eats through your base, you don't lose everything. (Never happened to me). Or build in stone). But I managed great with a couple different Wood bases. Good luck!

Let me preface this by saying that there are many aspects of this game that I love. Ok, so as others have said, I am also wondering if there is an upcoming nerf soon, to both normal predators and alphas? I really, really want to keep playing but the predators are both so many and so overpowered compared to me, so all I can do is try to shoot them from my roof, with flame arrows. If I meet them in the wild I just try to run away and hope for the best. But it gets frustrating dying a lot of times... Also that they camp outside base, etc feels really frustrating and unnatural/creepy. Thanks.

Yeah that seemed to happen to me the other day cause I logged out in house and hours later logged in to find "You were killed by rattlesnake"... Just lucky I always try to empty most of my inventory Into boxes before I log out..

@Marnics123 I haven't sailed around yet since everyone says almost all claimable lands have been claimed. So I just went to the first lawless island I found. There I found first a bit of land, and then another bit. So I managed to build a nice base + shipyard on lawless. Only thing is I have to repair base etc at least every 4 days, so it doesn't decay. Since I am playing a lot I don't mind repairing every time I log on. Also I am actually quite relieved being on lawless, to not have to bother about worrying some1 will contest my flag/land. Good luck ! (I still have some lawless land left that I don't rly need so if you're really in need, just write me and I could give you a bit of lawless land. EU pve server).

I understand you completely and I really hope they nerf all predators soon! It is very tough to play when they're always after you. Not a moment's peace when they're even chewing outside on the walls of the house... I even tried to spec the "stealth" talent to make the predators notice me less, but didn't see much difference... Let's hope the devs make this a priority, so we can enjoy the game better..

Do you have difficulty finding land, any land? I know, lawless is not permanent land, but I've made a nice home on a lawless island. You do only have to login and repair your base every 3 or 4 days, to keep it as yours! It's nice. I think I took on a bit too much land for 1 player, so I can give a small coastal strip away, enough for a base and hopefully shipyard. The Island is quite easy to reach with a raft from the local freeport. Hopefully this is useful for a new/solo player, or small company. All I would hope for in return is some collaboration, maybe we could play together/help each other out. (Not a must! ). Msg me if interested.

@Jatheish I appreciate your post, have only one concern/question, the predators on lawless islands are way too overpowered for me as a new player. I hear many say the same. Is there any hope of changes coming? (Major nerf for all predators). I'm very new to all this and it's borderline game-breaking mechanisms for me, when I'm trying to build a base to start from before i find a crew etc, but getting killed so much that it takes the joy out of it. Today there was 1 alpha tiger and 1 alpha snake, 3 yards apart... I died twice to them, and before that a giant snake was camping my house for hours, making it impossible to get anything done on the house. Looking forward to feedback hopefully in next patch, cause I want to be able to play this game, it has so much potential and beauty. Thanks.
