I'm 50. My Atlas friend who plays on our private Blackwood server is 52. I agree with Chucksteak about reading to digest the posts in forums. The problem I have with Discord is the scrolling text black hole that is happening in real time. With forums, posts are more deliberate. Discord is just a vomit stream of crap with small chunks of useful info that get lost......unless it's verbal/talking info, then it's even LESS useful because you can't scroll up to "hear" the info if you're not on as the talking happens.

Playing on a private Blackwood server. Somehow, I've gained all of the quest skills while NOT having all other skills. My xp is normal and I'm choosing my other skills as normal. How did I get all quest skills, and how can I give JUST the quest skill to my friends on the server as well? There was a time that we used the showmyadminmanager to force ourselves into a company with bugged characters and to give ourselves some other things like XP and some animals.

I get some lag spikes now and then, but I think that's due to my video card having to render everything as I have mine set to EPIC.

My friend who put the piping in has straight pipes above the crop plots. Sounds like that's incorrect.

We have 2 reservoirs with pipes coming out of them. The pipes are above the crop plots. Is that how it's supposed to work? The water flows through the pipes and "drips" out onto the crops?

I'll give billboards a try, instead of the door frames to see if we can get a rhino or elephant. Although...... We just installed our first mod, Market NPCs, and we can buy just about anything we need, including rhinos and elephants. I even think they're max tamed level when purchased. We can even sell some resources for gold.

It seems like more of a hit box issue than a food problem. I can't find a safe place to stand to feed the elephant or rhino. And if I do find a spot, the animal won't take the food. Could it be that the animal's head and torso are clipping into the fence/doorway and that's preventing it from taking the food?

Do you mean fish around the shore or just fish inland in some ponds? We just tamed a bear on cyclops island, and grabbed a treasure chest on the island south if Freeport island, and neither have fish on the ocean shore

Our crops are growing, but the plots still say not irrigated. I think they're only growing because of rain, not the water pipes above them. I also don't think the water basin thingy isn't filling from the ground either.... What are we doing wrong?

We're growing beets, wheat, turnips, rice, chilli, and potatoes on the Freeport Island.... west coast slightly north of the Dock/pier town. I used Admin commands to give us the seeds for wheat, beets, chilli and turnips since I thought those were NOT available on the map. I may have been wrong about chilli.

We found a wreck in the middle of the ocean so I dove WAY WAY WAY down without a suit, all the way to the bottom where the wreck was, got the treasure and barely made it back up before drowning......... I didn't see 1 fish. We've sailed a bunch of times and haven't seen ANY fish along our travels.

Sorry to get your hopes up ..... I used Admin commands to give me wheat seeds and my friend grew the wheat. Since it's nowhere in the game (which is unacceptable) we felt it was OK to use Admin cheat codes to give ourselves what the developers messed up.

I've been trying to use beets and wheat to tame elephants and there seems to be no way to tame them.....E to feed doesn't work. Am I using the wrong food?

After logging back in today to our private server, I now can't harvest fiber from the yellow/green plants on the Freeport Island. I try using a sickle or by hand and I can't get any. Anyone else have this issue? I shut down the server, restarted it and then logged back in, but still can't get the fiber from those plants. OK ...never mind. The server needed to be updated and now I can harvest the plants. I'm hoping the update fixed my elephant issue .... maybe added fish too??? One can hope **** UPDATE **** No change in the elephant taming issue. I even tried wheat and the E key still doesn't feed it. by the way, I got the wheat seeds by admin commands along with turnips and chillis since people have been reporting that they're nowhere to be found.

My friend and I built our base on the Freeport island (slightly north of west side docks right?) right next to that puddle. He's got his irrigation of crops going strong. We haven't explored all of the islands yet, but we lost a BEAUTIFUL tiger on an island with big ogres/cyclops? They're huge and have a club. Ogre caught me when I got stuck in bamboo and he killed me. My tiger got killed after a great fight (left the ogre with only 10% health left). There were bears on the island as well, so I guess we have to go back to tame one....ugh! 1. I still don't know where the FoY island is. 2. Why aren't there any fish in the ocean? No sharks, tuna, sea bass, swordfish, dolphins (I know they're mammals). We DID see a whale and it turned to try and catch us (I think) 3. Freeport Island. Why is the red crystal actually salt when you chop it? 4. Is there an issue with taming elephants? We had a TERRIBLE time finding the "spot" to feed it. We had beets in our inventory "0" spot and it only gave 1% taming after we finally found the spot to feed it. The hit box for feeding it shouldn't be THAT small. Are we doing something wrong? UPDATE ***** Ok, now I couldn't tame an elephant at all. I had beets in slot 0 and when I found the sweet spot it said to feed with beets to tame. I hit the E key to feed it and it never ate. I bola'ed it 3 times and each feeding time it wouldn't take the beets. I had to kill the elephant......I am no longer hungry UPDATE ***** 5. We found an island with big round portal looking things that glow. When we made land, there were AotD that emerged!! We got the h3ll out of there quick!

OK .... thank you ..... except I still don't know where that would be. I've never seen a power stone, nor do I know what to do with one if I was to find one. I'm having a hard time finding a screenshot of the Blackwood atlas/map/whole grid that I can use to help me pinpoint the PS island. Is it the top NE island? Middle right island? Second SW island that looks like a heart? (those were made up locations but you get it)

19.4 That sucks you couldn't get it. Question.... If the wreck is out to sea, are there threats swimming around it or is it a free chest?

There were 2 wrecks on the Blackwood map that had the bow of the ship clipped in the side of an island. The bow seems to be the place where the treasure is so if you can't swim through a hole in the deck or get below deck to the front of the ship, you can't get the treasure chest.
