I think you are right. We should be able to "kill" our caractere and respawn if not possible in our home region or bed, elsewhere in the game.

At least 36 servers are refusing connections on the EU - PVE Cluster. It's a total mess since patch 8.35. Players are enable to log in for more than 48h. Dev, Wildcards, you need to say something. Ever just "We are working on it, sorry guys, it's an alpha.". You can't just ignore such a major crash of your EU clusters... Big issue here and it's not new:

Yeah have a look here for I9 server: It's the whole EU PVE cluster that is falling appart, one server at the time...

Seems the dev have their day off and, obviously, no one is monitoring the clusters stability today. It's hard to believe but it's the only answer i have for the moment to this issue. I hope tonight or tomorrow they will patch it and that we won't have to deal with to hard consequences ingame (bases, tamed, ships...).
