Tried it, got in... and about the only thing I could do was hand collect fiber... Tool animation would 'play' but never could collect any resources.... Couldn't attack/kill any mobs either.... far as the mobs were concerned I was waving a feather. Tried that, was able to get in..... but it was useless, couldn't collect anything.... mobs ignored me, like I was waving a feather at them. Axe, pickaxe etc would play the animation... and I'd get....zip, zilch, nada. ...and of course my raft was gone, all my food had spoiled etc.

Someone is posting in some threads about adding a +connect and cut/pasting from the saved file.... I did this, and it go me in... HOWEVER 1> My raft disappeared, presuming decay 2> Anything to required 'tools' to collect... does not work, Example: Axes, pickaxe, doesn' 'collect' anywood, thatch etc, weapons did NO damage to mobs and mobs acted is if they were not being attacked. This is my experience, others may vary... juding from the lack of people & above... it's farked. That there has been no official response on this forum (that Im aware of), nor twitter... it does seem to re-enforce other's statement in regards to the lack of professionality by the devs/producers.

Imagine we're not going to see squat until late tonight/tomorrow.... Not nice, not likely a popular opinion...but if your going to insist on pushing a 'launch' just before the holidays, you should be professional enough to keep staff on hand for if/when things go down.

I was hitting 'rejoin', went into options.. came out and get that.. fits inline with your's and the ping results etc. Though seeing and recalling your back history now, yours is definitely a head scratcher.. Checked any forums, related to your isp on off chance of others with same?

Things happen, likelyhood of something in game code causing it, nil.... Reality is there's a horde of components that make up the parts of a PC, the more complex is something is, the greater opportunity for failure. Get bored, research the odds of getting a mac address conflict... my 2nd contract, we're installing NIC's in a bunch of pc's and 'bam'. Likely there's a bad spot/sector, tried to write to that spot and tripped up... In that situation, you're better to try from a cold boot not a restart.

Dar, Roughly how long did it take in comparison to Ark? Lack of...feedback, and movement of critters driving me nuts. 20 minutes wasted trying to 'follow' and tame a lvl 1 monkey... 10 or so following a lvl 9 chicken, only apparently for the server to flake out
