  1. @The D Legacy, My suggestion is that if you want things to change, then you will get a lot further with talking to a person with a less of a negative tone. The negative tone throws you off the topic and people just see you as giving bad feedback because you are "just angry". I think you understand that but you should also understand that I'm trying to suggest this, so people remember that this is a test of the systems in the game and devs are people to The devs want the game to be a success but they can not satisfy everyone at the same time. It could well be that they did not think of adding a longer claim time for the flags and that it needs to be close to the flag placed on the island to claim it. Stuff like that needs to be adjusted and i think it will It also helps a lot if you give a suggestion on how to solve the problem or if you just ask people if anyone has a good suggestion on how to solve this? I believe that we all want the game to be good, when the new season goes live
  2. Hello Robin, I think this is good feedback but if you want people to take you seriously. Then i would suggest instead of saying "That is stupid and retarded. How is the possible fair. No change on earth its defendable". Say, "This looks like it is a little unfair and might need to be adjusted some how", maybe even give a suggestion on how this can be adjusted to be more fair. I would suggest that you should have to place the flag in range of the other corps flag and then you clam the island you should be able to move the flag one time. Devs might also want to set the time for claiming a island up a little? Stuff needs to be adjusted and devs have said they will while the test is running. Don't get to frustrated guys and girls, they will change thinks so they make more sense. Best Regards Shep
  3. Hello Everyone, I hope everyone is having an amazing day Okay, lets talk ships and cannons. I love the impact the game has when you do ship battles and i most say it's the best sail ship combat on the market right now. The factors i see giving this feeling is really well made waves, modular ships, animations/smoke and feeling of force. I'm not going to touch on team play because it a more sophisticated thing then i want to touch on in this post but a good thin atm However, the one thing that i think could make this even better would be to add some resistance and more impact when firing and getting hit by a cannon ball. Like the amount of movement generated by a large canon should push the ship hard depending on the size of the ship If you put a large cannon on a sloop and you fire it, it should push the ship in the opposite direction. It could even take in water so you need buckets to empty it after a shot I think it would make sense that a small ship would take hull damage form having a big cannon fired form it. It would also be amazing if large cannons had some kinetic punch to it if you hit another ship. What do you guys think? and would it be easy to add to the physics? I really like this idea my self just saying Lets build on the strong points of this game Best regards o/Shep EU-Pvp
  4. It depends on what pvp mode you are playing. I think it was Colonies or Empire mode? But yeah, there would have to be some work done on the merge system. This might not be as easy to fix as i thought. Thanks guys for wanting to talk about it I feel like this is impotent to get straitened out in the game. There are some good suggestions on this post. It would be awesome to get this fixed.
  5. Hello you great people I drank to much coffee but want to report something that really needs a fix or some more finish at least. The problem is regarding animals and getting stuck on everything while trying to move. In Ark it was also a problem but it was way less then in Atlas. Running around with a bear or a horse is almost impossible! Do you have to get stuck on every small stone and bush you walk in to? It would be a big plus if you guys could fix this, so the bear could just slide around the object or crawl it. Maybe there are better ways to fix this? It's also a big issue when you run in to a smaller animal. Why not just be able to push the smaller animal to the side and continue running? If the other animal is bigger it should push you out of the way? Like all theis small things makes the game way more immersive, feel real and you can predict your path better when riding an animal. I really feel like this would be something worth while fixing What do people think? Best Regard /Shep EU-PVP server
  6. They did add a cool down for the tribe name change, i just don't remember how long the CD was o.0 I remember something about two weeks, but I'm not inertly sure if that is correct tho.. Google is giving me different info on it I know that they did something to fix this, so Atlas should be able to do the same However more then a CD is need in my opinion!
  7. The last update that added a 300% damage reduction to anchored ships helped a lot. I think this was a step in the right direction. If that is the way to go, then building defense is only hampered by upkeep and activity. What i'm trying to say is that if the right balance is found, this might actually work I do believe that trying to balance the damage reduction of anchored ships to 400% and reducing the npc upkeep in gold cost would help a lot (Food is ok right now, npc loves potatoes and rice!). This would not make offline raids completely impossible but would make it harder to do. If you make offline raiding completely impossible then you will make the world to locked down (Stail) and you would lose a part of the game play. Even tho, i will say i hate that offline raiding is a part of the game. I do understand that the player base would die completely if offline raiding is completely removed or locked down. Like the Offline Raiding Prevention that Ark had, that completely "prevented" offline raiding when the tribe was offline. You just end up with a lot of ruins that block territory and can not be touched by players for long time.   8. Hello Everyone, We have a general issue in the game that must be addressed. This is regarding Corp name change and that it is to easy to just change the company name. People are using other company names to troll allies and corps are doing shady raids and then changing there name and flag. This is one of the few time where i would like to suggest a cool down for something. In this case a company's name should be binding or if changed it should be easy to see what privies names the corp had. There should also be a way to see if a corp has merged in to another corp, this would stop people form cheating the system! In this game reputation and name recognition plays a big role, even more so then it did in ark and yes this was also a problem in ark. However, because of the scale of Atlas it is way more difficult to find out who is who. PLEASE ADDRESS THIS ISSUE! Best reguards John Shepard GoA - EU
  9. Hello everyone, People are leaving this game in huge amounts because of getting offline raided ever night. The current defenses are to weak against one dude with fire arrows, oil jars or explosive barrels. I would like to suggest that you should make building and ships that are anchored take less damage in certain hours of the day. People have work, family and real life issues that make it hard to be on 24 as some out of work griefers do and few people are lucky enough to be pro streamers. I did test this in Ark and it worked really well for two years(We did tinker with the settings a lot, before we found the right one). From 22:00 to 16:00 on week days you had a damage reduction 0f 5x on buildings and in the weekend you had from 00:00 to 10:00 where damage was also reduced. The reason for not preventing damage completely is that that kills the map completely and the sens of danger goes down to much when playing. I do believe that a system like this would make it a lot better for people that have jobs and that has the money to buy expansions for the game in the future when they do get added. The future might not be expansions like we know them but it might be in the form of visual equipment of other stuff. If you keep catering to the no life/no money grievers then your gaming business will go down in flames with them or so i believe. I would like to hear form people on the forum, are you guys as tired of the offline raiding that happens every time we go to work or to school? and would you keep using your money on it if it keeps happening?   11. Hello everyone, Right now there is a issue where the server run worse and worse until they crash and a rollback happens. I would like to suggest the servers should do a daily restart at 13:00 CET in EU and something equal in the US. Eve-online had the same thing, they called it daily maintenance. that would also mean that people would always know when maintenance was happening with the servers. This would make a lot of players and server admins happy i think. Please take this in to consideration I have also been running Ark servers for two years on FuryOfArk community and we do the same thing to keep performance high.   13. Hello guys, Did China just hack the servers and start spawning in stuff? o.0 Can anyone confirm this!? and i'm guessing that that is the reason why the servers are down! What is the status form the devs? Is there going to be a rollback and what security did you guys implement to not have this happen in the future?
