Problems with water consumption/drinking/storage.

So far, the only source of water ive been able to use is digging for a water spout and drinking.

I know you cant drink the salt water, but i cant seem to drink (or fill water skins) from freshwater ponds etc either.

 

what am i missing?

(i find a small pond, look straight down, press E, try kneeling and pressing E, try going prone, pressing E) does not work

filling waterskins also not working.

Can't fill skins from that for carrying water or cooking, so you can't cook on most islands.

I managed to make a couple of waterskins and filled them at the freshwater pond near your initail spawn point.

To fill the skins, I placed each one on my action bar and pressed it while slightly submerged in the water. When you hover over the skin, it should then say 100/100.

A single waterskin doesn’t last very long, so I suggest you fill several and carry them with you.
