  1. Thanks for these tips. Will give that a try. I’ll try the pick again next time to see if that yields any meat.
  2. Although still in the early stages of the game and still determining if this game will even facilitate RP, thought it might be worth while to see what community there is. Might be handy to list your server and time zone as well! I’m on the NA PVE server The Hydra’s Den and my time zone is PST. Be great to see if someone wanted to get a discord going. Even better if the Atlas Devs would give us an RP server option!
  3. Near the starter spawn point is a freshwater pool. Follow the “water” signs and you’ll find it. To drink, submerge yourself a little bit and press [E]. If you took the water bearer skill, you can craft water skins. You can fill those as well by placing theming your action bar and pressing that button while slightly submerged. When you hover over them while in inventory view, they should show 100/100.
  4. If you read my post above, I had tried that, but the tuna I killed wasn’t giving me any meat. Do I chop it with the hatchet or is there a different way to get meat from fish?
  5. I managed to make a couple of waterskins and filled them at the freshwater pond near your initail spawn point. To fill the skins, I placed each one on my action bar and pressed it while slightly submerged in the water. When you hover over the skin, it should then say 100/100. A single waterskin doesn’t last very long, so I suggest you fill several and carry them with you.
  6. So I am really baffled on how to keep my vitamin D levels up? I know you get it from fish. i speared a tuna underwater, but after I dragged it to the shore, I couldn’t get any meat from it. My hatchet, pick and punches yielded nothing but skin. i made a fishing rod, placed my chair on my raft and found some sap. Even managed to get my line to cast out into the water, but nothing after a VERY long time.... saw fish in the water nearby, but nothing was biting. There has GOT to be an easier way to maintain your vitamin D levels?!?! Anyone got this figured out?

    Sap

You can find sap in beehives. You’ll find them among clusters of trees. Just equip your hatchet and go to town.
  8. SO been trying to log into an official server since "launch", whenever that was and I've been getting the "Unable to fetch current..." error that everyone seems to be getting. I did have a little success on the EU PVE server (I"m based in Canada though) and managed to log in, but then was plagued with "rubber-banding", where I would walk forward a few feet and then I'd bounce back. So after hours of trying to connect to connect with an Official server, I tried on a whim to connect to an Unofficial server. Holy crap, it ran smoothly. No rubber-banding. No bugs. No problems. So why the hell are those servers running better than the Official ones? If some kid in his basement can run a better server than the Devs, what gives?? Getting frustrated here and would really like to play this game on an official server at some point.
  9. Avast there ye swabs. Hope to see some of you in-game soon. Once this huge game downloads and unpacks!
  10. Nice! I've never used Blender. Got some experience years back from 3D Studio Max and Maya, but that's about it.
  11. Some were quicker than others. Because of the comic art style I can push one out fairly quickly, usually in one night if I get the initial sketch down quick enough. A couple of nights if I'm struggling with part of it.

    Here's some:
  13. Not Atlas-specific, but some various pirate-style art I've created over the years for some characters of mine and friends. Mostly from WoW.
