Finally got to C6 Golden ruins,lol.. So many boats..got stcuk on a boat, Many toxic players,trying to mislead you.. and the mobs omg.. Seem alot of people go in and carry relics ,they got from boss,that I have no idea how they got(if his on ther island thers tons of high level agro,mobs range between 65-250),but i followed this guy girl in front of me looted a bag i saw. Inside was a relic.I used it and boom got a power stone. So no FOY like people said but at least go me a stone

Wow..what a nice long post about a wild goose chase,or ghost chase lol.. Question: Is this even viable for a solo player? I know these areas are drowning with high level SODs,i guess one can try to navigate thought their deadly web,do the mobs in the islands sink your ship? Like gators..do you need to build something you'll know you'll lose? I saw on you tube, one guy trying to reach the power stone location,the island is field with alpha levels Cyclops and other mobs who i presume one shot you. He did managed to get to the cave that was filled just like the good ol` caves in ARK with murderous beasts(bats,spiders etc also levels far above regular) On a far ledge,on the opposite side seem to be your goals,with a ravine between of death mobs. Can you simply run there? need a grappling hook? is it doable for a solo player?

So mid travel,patch landed, After the server came back up I lost 3 NPC crew members... almost got sunk by SOD as they were re spawned all over the zone after the patch,at least saw 8 in my zone C10,then when I came back to my base I found out some of my items vanished as well,like had green grappling hook,vanished. back at the base 2 of my Rhinos swimming in the water,third dissapeared without trace.this also weird as they were in the Pen with many other tames,only they were in the water and most my tames are on Neural so if agro occurred most of them been out as well..but nope,only 2 rhinos in the sea,and one vanished. Ok also had skills gone,and 2 levels and my respec that was available was saving it... after playing 10 min,suddenly it came back? Really nice patch! thanks!

EU PVE SIRENS CALL: After patch 15,2 NPC vanished from my ship.This was mid voyage.not just logging after some time. defently patches fault somehow. theres no message in company log ,theres lots of gold and food in the ships storage box.

And to every coin theres two sides. Imagine a beautiful lush forest,full of resources and metal. SO the owners were nice to leave a yellow flag for building,so one company build a hut for contesting the flag,failing of course but also destroying half the forest,and another idiot,left on the other side wooden fence foundation with a thatch wall,which destroyed all the resources and the other side of the forest.its just desolated piece of land now,useless to anyone,as its landlocked as well..

What otter nonsense.to say such a thing about an early release game,which just aint true ,even if we decide to ignore state of said game. Some people are just clueless.If you cant set goals for yourself,join a group who can help you with that. Unless this game dont suit you,thats another matter,cant argue with that.Call of Duty and World of warcraft are waiting eagerly to collect people like that. But if you do love challenges and survival games,this game is frekin amazing sandbox. I have almost 400 hours now in game,let me recap a bit what I did. First I logged in,terrible lag,rubber banding etc. but as an mmo vetran Im used to that and set a goal.I read a bit before that the devs give you some guidelines.those wrote ultimatly get a raft and get out,which is what I did. With great effort,not only the bugs but some player stole my stuff etc,but i just went back in.its like Sylvester stalone said in his last ROCKY film: “Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!” Anyways,got my raft sailed out,got stuck for like an hour in lag,finally managed to get out of the zone while constantly dieing(chose tundra region and cold just killed me over and over) The lag was gone with the losers that kept crying over global,and was time for next target:find a place to live,and build a base! While i was stuck in lag i was multitasking.searching forum for tips and leads. im mostly PVE person,but looked at pvp,and thats when i found this post with a map,showing the different zones,bioms etc and knew I had to travel north if I wanted a warmer place. kept dieing over and over,tried one island but got eaten by wolves,so i kept onward,finally after 2 zones I made it to the tropics! The temp was nice,the Islands not so hostile like Tundra. found a nice island,very large.I claimed the eastern side as my own,darcek was here first!that was amazing feeling.then I started working on my base. After the night seem the devs managed to fix the situation for all the whiners in the starting zone,and i started getting visitors,and all my land was stolen from me,except for one claim..that was painful,but I knew its early access,so I just buckled up continue forward. later on my food kept vanishing after night,so salt was my next goal.I searched for a location and set sail with a new ship ive built..after that,it was about getting some tames,then it was about building a bigger ship.then there was the fiasko with the SOD that destroyed my ships even one i was only in construction. So ive rebuild and went out again,next goal was getting g myself a bear,as fiber collecting was a pain,going into lawless,setting a trap and getting few bears. Next I heard theres Nephta down in the Polar,so i made fur armors and went down there for a crazy day adventure. I can go on and on,theres just so many stuff to do in this game,so many challenges and wonders to see.and its all just early access lol. As for me even if I stop playing now,I defently got my 25$ worth gameplay. Saying there aint much to do here in this game? infuriating

Never mind,after playing with positions I was able to place them.just need to be below location not above.

Ive seen people use them,however when I tried placing one it just gives me message: "Cant place on Floor!" Any tips how I can build and add platforms to my base? Can it be built with other stuff like walls etc or only on natural mountains.

Will you fix Rhino no weight reduction and Bulls to get more thatch collecting to be viable thatch collecting tames? Will you buff SOD Loots to be worth in investing in cannons ammo and additional crew and skill points? With cooking can you make grill to be irrigated or something,using skins for cooking or dyes is pain and makes me not touch cooking. Can you make guns viable again? at the moment its useless and not worth in investing points in.

Anyone got an idea maybe how I can keep vultures away from my tame in the pen? Maybe a ceiling?

From my experience so far,they reset on two occasions: You failed to kill all of them in some amount of minutes.(not sure how long exactly,but its like 5-10 min) You went too far away from some radius around the chest.

Which area is best to dock when you need to log out? I know Free ports are the worst. What about lawless and regular zones? Is it best to park in the regular areas?

As usual,server crushed earlier today.there were only 7 player in the zone(C10) and Ping like 40.. During the day its regular to have 120+ Ping on most grids,except Polar area were it was low,but even there,still all the performance is Laggy and rubber band,I need to fight to advance moving forward on foot get rubber band,ship while sailing fighting wind but also the lag,you see her rubber banding as well. This also makes playing quite frustrating when involved quick response,which unfortunately the game demands on many a times.(mini games,running from predators and Alphas,taming,and general combat is useless as where you aim lags,then shot dosent hit whether its gun or bow)

I use Fur to protect against extreme cold situations. Is there an equivalent to extreme heat?

Can Rhino pass regular gates or need Large ones?

Nooblet showed how,its mainly how then its all easier after you know,and it will be pain if you dont. Youll first need to get a lion.Lions can catch whatever you tame.then you simply put the horsy in a nice pen release and start taming.for easy mode have all efficiency skilled up and sugarcane.

Not sure if its a bug or not. I finally got a dinghy doc for my Brig.but after some use Dinghy has damage,however I cant repair it. Not when its docked not when its in the Dinghy lift thing.just no option although it clearly shows the damage plus materials needed... https://imgur.com/a/j4odkwC

Not sure where you got those numbers. For me without the lowering cost of Captain,I pay like 5 gold to purchase an NPC at the Free Ports,then they cost me around 24 gold per day each. I haven't gone into Ship combat yet as I heard loot isnt worth it.I did hear that manning an NPC on Cannon makes him cost more.not sure bout that one. But for my brig,I pay for 4 crew man,1 to repair ship 3 others man the sails.total cost is 96g per day.I get that usually only from collecting tax alone.
