  1. So my 10 man company has to ask the owner to please build some defensive structures so we are able to defend our ships and stuff during raidtimes? Don't think this will work. Neither does this work on the slave who is dependant on the activity of the owner and ahs been taken away a very fun part of the game. Nor ist it working for the owner who will get constant asking for stuff to be build. Dunno, but why not have an owner approved register of companies that are allowed to build their own defense shit?
  2. I dont read it like that when it says " Only the owner of a Settlement will be able to build offensive structures (mortars, cannons, and swivels) on their island, outside of Wartime. " to me this sounds like a slave company can build structures (that decay) but no offensive stuff (apart from Puckles). So no harbour defense and no means against mobile cannons. And certainly no means to defend from being kicked out by the landowner.
  3. There are a few points which have implications which i see critical or which are very hard to forsee what happens: "An alliance now only contains a maximum of 4 companies " Will this lead to a couple of very big alliances and then drops off to tiny ones. We are a 10 man company, so who will take us up? Probably only other 10 man companies. So we will have to live as a cost reducer on a big companies island, right? So we sit on an island owned by a much larger company and if they dont like us they will have us destroyed anytime without notice and realistc options to denfend (see below). Not sure if i like that. " Structures that are built on a Settlement which do not belong to the Settlement Owner will have a decay timer " Is that like the current Decay Mechanic in lawless? Or does it mean non owners will struggle against constantly damaged structures? " Only the owner of a Settlement will be able to build offensive structures (mortars, cannons, and swivels) on their island, outside of Wartime. " This is the most crucial sentence. So outside of War which doesnt include raid (right?) a non owner cannot build cannons on their settlement or at least they wont be functional during the raid. So no defense towers to defend the ships? What are we supposed to do against bear cannons? Generally, is there a distinction between wartime and raidtime in the context of the rules? Is raidtime considered wartime or are they different?
  4. All i am saying is, it is PvB that the others played not PvP. And in the new System the people who take joy in PvBing will still be able to do it on lawless and unclaimed islands. On the others actualy PvP is needed to achieve something.
  5. We have been thougroughly raided(emptied) like 6-7 times so far now. How many fights did we get? 0. So much for PvP. It is PvB that most people are playing.
  6. I know this is a sensitve Area. But what do you think they will be adding in the big patch to tackle this issue?
  7. At least they are trying to tackle offline raiding. If you get destroyed over and over again and never actually get a fight or a chance to actively defend then this is costing players. We have been razed to the ground in the night 5 times in the last 2 weeks, allways rebuild but lost players along the way. I have played quite a few full loot games so far and the offline raiding issue has allways been the biggest problem for the games and needed to be adressed at some point. Dunno why they started without measures against it.
  8. This is the second time we got (thoroughly) offline raided and all our Puckle NPCs are dead but the cannon is still intact (infact the whole tower where they were placed is intact). Does anyone know this is being done? Thought invincible means unkillable - at least while the puckle gun is alive. It is kinda hard to defend against offline raiding when bear mounted cannons melt through structures and at the same time NPCs are useless.
