  1. Then it would be better to have the decay system, the less material on a building, faster it decay.. all you ever need. if you deffend the claim system thats in place right now, i guess PvE is the best option i can give you, becouse flag capturing without notifications is basicly PvE playstyle
  2. "Also, it takes hours... If you don't look at your ship for hours, then it is your own fault." True, its my fault i do have a job to intend to. crap... cant play this game then it seems.. The whole claim system need to go away.. this is a pvp server, not hide and seek when ppl is offline and not. "Oh.. i claimed your base, i do have your key to your house now since i have a flag outside your base" does that make sense? that you could take over another persons work for weeks just by putting down a flag on a land? THAT dosent make any sense dude. Play PvP as intended.

Instead of claiming land timer based on the amount of flags, make it count how many "foundations, walls etc" is within that claimed area. so when its a just empty claimed land, it would take a shorter time period than in the middle of a base. Or the furter away from the place with most stones takes less time. so closer to the main base it would take a longer time. Right now people that just join the game for the first time, they can enter your main base, contest your flag. after a few hours when people are working, they own the entire base that someone have worked for weeks to get. So weeks of progress now goes to the group that just joined the game for the first time. This dont give any raid feeling, this is just hide and seek..
  4. I would love to see the reaction of the person posting this when someone is claiming his ship, didnt get any notification and suddenly see it set sails away in the horizon without any warnings... good post..
  5. Yeah, every flag placed pri 10.42 or something is also not counting as a claimed area. Our base show -15 claimed areas, if you remove one claim for another area. it will go down to -1. -1 count as max amount of placed flags. So basicly its 15 min to contest a flag. And another thing, remove for god sake that the owner of the flag owns that building.. If you have a key to a door, you still have the key to that door. whats the point of raiding bases with canons when you just can claim that base and demolish everything?! Smaller groups sleeping, build as a raid proof building as it can be, then 5 naked ppl that just started the game for theyr first time just claim that place. Suddenly they own the whole base that the smaller group have built up for weeks? I know for fact that people this happening to wont come back for a while to this game. For now, remove the whole "flag count thing" the devs added untill you get a fix, now its just a positive thing for the bigger groups that have all the land they need from pri 10.42? patch. Untill fix, just remove it so people dont get base wiped becouse of this bug..
  6. Our base now shows that we have -15 claimed flags. This is making our base basicly 15min claiming and they controll everything we have. We are a small group that plays "only" 12-15h a day on the server. If one person come in hi can basicly claim everything within minutes ( we have a small base with few flags)

    Crew payments

    So basicly as far as Im aware, the crewmembers on the boats charge 4 times the amount the should? The crew members say 1 gold each 1.X hour, but we dig more into it since gold has such a high rotation on the ships, so we found out that 1 ship costs us now 1824g each day(24h). We dont exactly hace 1824 crewmembers on the ship..
  8. Hi I think it would make it a better "realistic" image to replace these ships with actual pirate ships that couldn't ble claimed at all, just for the looks of it. Right now glowing floating "monsters" in the sea doesen't fit the image of the rest of the game. it would look cooler as well if it was actually ships. and also make them not spawn 10 in the same area. but in the same area that it is a max amount of ships located.
  9. People play at diffrent times, you cant change a game becouse some people dont play on those hours, would destroy the game.
  10. I would rather see many small groups with top 60 active members than groups with 600-1000 ppl. This wont be a enjoyable game for long when you have 130 ppl rushing your square take everything and you cant to anything about it but leave in frustration, and after that have the same struggle finding a new place to settle down. I cant even see the fun of being in a huge group, you could get everything the game have to offer within 30 min. And fights on the water? 130 ppl with large ships against a group of 7? I have never been attacked by a big group, so this isnt for anything else than understanding the frustration from people who have experienced this. Oh,then i guess alliances had to have a limit as Well.

Hi, I do see the problem people complain about offline raiding, but its a pvp server, if every person that was offline couldnt be raided it would have kinda destroyed the game aswell, since no one can claim, capture or do anything with people not playing the game. What my suggestion is, is basicly increase the amount of HP buildings / Ships have when people is offline(twice or tripple). So people actually have to do some effort and resource loss to raid offline bases as well.
  12. I feel this is good, it would be bad to actually see brigs just as usual as schooners in my opinion. Then every clan would just mount brigs full of NPC crews with no effort true it, griefing every afk harbor they could find. The raft or dingly might be 50% cheaper. Anyway, i do like this patch!
  13. This need to be fixed as soon as possible othervise people will rage quit. * Hatchet and other hand tools sholdnt work on damaging ships * Docked ships dont get weight problem with ppl and items, so people cant trow rocks to sink ships when people is offline
