    ark was one island suitable for single player experience ,what are solo single players going to do with 255 grids ? let me tell u they are going to sit on one island and teleport around to others if they need resources , or spawn it in NO SINGLE SOLO PLAYER IS GOING TO SAIL MORE THAN 1 OR 2 GRIDS,   until they get bored , so they are going to play mini ark  with less tames and less to do ....

    hence the single player all grids mode , is this what they are thinking at this stage ? if the game doesnt gain traction they wont be able to keep 4 x servers of this size running for long , 


  3. no reason for this ridulous thread so they get a bigger island because they bought more accounts , then they remove alt from company and get a measly 20% more resources , how does that affect u in anyway on PVE ? answer it doesnt  <------------- im taking a guess this is what u are gettting worked up about .

    ark was a single island , this game isnt , ark had a lot more content even at release , ark also had the advantage as there wasnt really many other survival games around to compete , 


  5. imo they really shouldnt be adding single player , the already low population on the serves will get worse , are they developing an mmo ? or are they finally going to admit that the game has failed pump out a single player version and call it a day and leave the rest to modders ? as this sounds very much like that is what is happening , 

     

    either develop and mmo or single player make your minds up devs you are killing your own game patch by patch , what are the players going to do in single player ? sit on their islands alone with nothing to do but build and dont tell me you single player mode players are going to sail around you will just use admin commands to teleport about , and how many of the grids are the single players going to use ?

    Family and Friends is completely seperate, so long as they are actually playing the game.  So a Man, his Wife and 5 children, all on 7 computers, playing on a server is totally fine. 

    Otherwise, not so much.

    not cheating at all they bought and paid for a second account who are you to say how they use it or what they buy as long as they have bought and paid for a second account they are free to play the game with it , join any company with it ,

    yes there should , players dont use it why should it stay there , good system and needed for the game especially with the amount of foundation spam that goes on , nice to see that forgotten or abandoned structures will be gone as soon as timers expire , heres hoping this is the start of the system they mentioned where resource upkeep comes into play for all structures players build ,

    sail when you have fair winds, not crap.

    sounds exactly what i do when low winds , plan trip if inds low go do somthing else ,

    there is zero skill involved when sailing in this game , drop sails ,turn sails for best wind and go ,turn to avoid sotd if u meet any on your journey , thats the extent of sailing in this game ,

    this strikes me as an attempt by devs to limit tames players have , as u have too many u wont be riding them all all the time if at all, so they become claimable , silly mechanic and needs changing fast as at the moment a lot of player will need to fully enclose there animals so players cant climb over pens and claim what they can , 

     

    also how do we stop cows being claimable ?

    looking at the screenshots u think what u have done is acceptable adult behavior ?, i have to agree with william on this one i hope the devs do take action for this one and do a complete wipe which as we all know will probably happen as what u have done is against the code of conduct , , there is no reason for that amount of foundation spam and to block others from being able to build / expand their already established base , 

     

     


  13. i had to place the larder near top deck in middle of ship for al the crew to be affected by just the one larder , it is possible just need to find the sweet spot

    u are too blind to the game mechanics , the more settlers u have the more resources u gain , or are u one of those island owners that dont allow settlers , u gain 20%(or whatever u set your tax rate too ) of everything famed on your island , so the more settlers u have farming the more u gain in resources , dont try to make out u dont , the system at the moment wasnt designed for pve so unlike pvp where u get protection from the island owners there are no benefits at all tenants in pve .. u get 20% of all treasure maps farmed on your island u get 20 % of all resources farmed on your island, and all u have to do it farm an additonal bit of gold over what a normal pve player does ,

    and the ability to cool the area and u can drink it as well , the ice box is useful for breeding if u need to cool the area down , not all just for the preserving qualitys

    true , maybe something they could add nearer release when hopefully they have everything optimised and working great , on the other side of the coin if they keep going the way they are and losing so many players it wont be an issue as there wont be many ships sailing about 😛

    omg do u not read and understand ,as u slow down , or speed up or the wind changes or u take a detour , or even stop ,so will the eta , same as car sat navs , u stop or take detours the eta adjusts ,
