  1. Is anyone here actually able to connect to their own server on a LAN ? If so, which IP and Port are you connecting through? I have a very similar setup as the OP here. A spare computer in my house is running the ATLAS server. Everything is working fine, anyone can connect from all over the globe. I just can't connect to it myself from inside the LAN. Here's the weird part. It's a password protected server, which like I said before, works for everyone else in the world. But when I connect to the query port, it DOES ask me for the password, but then after clicking OK on the password I get that same network failure message. I have tried to connect to the following (Only the first one asks me for the server password): steam://connect/192.168.1.200:37102 (Server IP: Query Port) steam://connect/192.168.1.200:7852 (Server IP: Game Port) steam://connect/192.168.1.200:27000 (Server IP: Seamless Port) steam://connect/74.14.156.199:37102 (WAN IP:Query Port) steam://connect/74.14.156.199:7852 (WAN IP: Game Port) steam://connect/74.14.156.199:27000 (WAN IP: Seamless Port) steam://connect/192.168.1.1:37102 (Router IP: Query Port) steam://connect/192.168.1.1:7852 (Router IP: Game Port) steam://connect/192.168.1.1:27000 (Router IP: Seamless Port)
  2. Just wondering, but are there any server owners that have been able to connect through their own LAN? If so, what IP (Server/Router/WAN) and which Port (Game/Query/Seamless) are you using to connet to the server with?
  3. I have a password protected, 1x1 server running on a spare computer here in my house for me and a couple friends. I have been running multiple Ark servers for several years this same way without any problems. When I start up the Atlas server, it runs fine and people from outside my network can find the server, connect to it and play on it. But whenever I try to connect to it, it instantly get a Connection Timeout message. I have tried connecting to all 3 ports, the game port, the query port and the seamless port via steam connect: steam://connect/192.168.1.200:37102 (Query) steam://connect/192.168.1.200:7852 (Game) steam://connect/192.168.1.200:27000 (Seamless) Out of the above 3, only the query port (37102) gives me the prompt to enter in my password, so it is making that connection to the server, but after I enter in my password, it immediately says Connection Timeout. I tried to connect via VPN to the server. I enabled my VPN and loaded up the ATLAS browser, I found my server in the list and click connect, it shows me the preview of my server so I click Join and enter in the server password. It waits for a while and then says Connection Timeout. I couldn't find any options in my router for NAT loopback settings, I have an older router. But I should be able to connect right? I mean it works fine in Ark, so I don't understand what's wrong. Does anyone have any suggestions? Someone told me that Atlas doesn't support LAN connections, is that true? Is there another work around? I have spent the last few days trying to figure this out, so if anyone has any other suggestions, I would welcome them with open arms. Cheers and Happy Holidays!
  4. By any chance, did you forget to put ?AltSaveDirectoryName=SERVERNAME in your command lines?
  5. This is a very misleading thread. I came here to figure out how to create a map and customize it and instead this thread is just a self promotion to your twitch channel. There's no direct link to any instructions just your twitch page with has at least 15 previous streams. I click on one of the videos and all I heard was some heavy breathing followed by "oh look i have almost 200 followers"... I mean you also said in a reply to your own thread.. " This also includes how to setup a dedicated server from scratch. " but where??? You don't actually expect everyone to go through all your past streams to find it themselves do you?
