  1. With the patch last weekend sleepers can't contest claims anymore, this should allow you to claim land from people that have been offline for an extended time. Patch Notes
  2. Yar mateys, As a pirate I like to scout the seas looking for booty, both floating in the sea aswell as board ships from scoundrels and scallywags. The only problem is, I can't use grappling hooks to aid in boarding their ship and keeping it in place, as was common in the Age of Sail: "There were two chief techniques of boarding in the Age of Sail. One was to bring the two ships close enough to actually step from or leap from one's own gunwale to the enemy's deck. Grappling hooks and lines assisted in keeping the vessels side by side." The idea is that you can throw grappling hooks to the enemy ship and lock it to your own ship to force the enemy ship in a side-by-side position. The enemy can attack the hooks to detach them, and the bigger the ship, the more grappling hooks are to be used before the ship is succesfully hooked.
  3. In what way they want to fix it I don't care, but offline raiding is currently way to easy. There is basically no way to protect yourself from it. So if you feel people shouldn't complain, any tips for how to protect yourself and your stuff while offline would be appreciated

    That's not the issue. It seems anything that you have gathered before patch 6 does not respawn, but everything you gathered after does. Because we had stones respawning fine at our island but barely any wood. The only trees that respawn are the trees that were already there when patch 6 was released.

  6. You can't. Sounds like the Company has crafting set to either "Player build, Company owned" or "Company build, company owned". This means that any player leaving a company will lose all his stuff that he/she crafted.
  7. Seems like stuff that was harvested before patch 6(.2) does not respawn, but stuff harvested after seems to do fine. I've had a patch of wood that wasn't touched before the patch and that has been respawning fine, but every resource harvester right before the patch still hasn't respawned.
  8. They'll need to kill you first. If a player is in it's claim area someone else can't take over the area. Currently it seems iron weapons do minimal damage to wooden structures as well, so it'll take a long time for a group of people to steal territory if it's properly defended.
  9. Yup, we are having the same problem. Seems like resources re-spawn extremely slowly (read anywhere between 1 and 12 hours per tree). And we have not found metal anywhere yet bar the small amounts that you get from some rocks.
