  1. It seems to be that there is something wrong with weight - both on characters and on ships. I noticed my own weight was high, and removed all gear, and everything from my bar, and removed it. I was still showing at 110 weight, pic included. All of our ships, currently, are showing more weight than they should as well - went out on voyages, came back loaded up. But after unloading they're still showing high. And for those who haven't noticed, a Galleon with standard full gunports (52) will gain 3,000 weight when you open said gunports. This is rather dangerous, if you need to defend yourself when overloaded and traveling. Said weight should already be calculated as part of being onloaded.
  2. Given we have 'Basics' and 'Secrets' for most weapon types, why does 'Secrets of the Bow' lead into 'Basics of Throwing' ? My suggestion is a 'Secrets of Throwing' - and it includes throwing hatchets, and javelins (an upgrade from the basic flint-tipped spear). Hatchets would only stack to 5, be shorter range, but higher damage vs unarmored. Javelins could stack to 10, longer range, and slightly more damage vs armored. And while Strong Arm currently applies to 'all projectile' - it makes less sense to give it to bows, as bow damage would be determined by strength of the bow, not the person, and would then form its own tree with Throwing weapons.
  3. I can confirm - we put one on a horse (only) and put a cannon (had option of front or back facing) and raced around the island shooting things. Unfortunate is that it only does 100~ ish damage, even point blank, to wolves. Wolves op.

Armor So for 4 skill points, I can get Intermediate Armor Studies, and wear up to Mythical quality Armors. I can then, later, for 8 points - take Advanced Armor Studies, and wear up to Armors of Mythical quality. And I've found that .. Mythical always comes before Legendary, but Mythical items take more materials, plus a special material to craft. Firearms First rank of Pistol Steady Aim text says: Reduces the shaking of weapons when projectiles are fully drawn (Bow/Spear). Which is the same as Steady Aim from the Archery tree. The other ranks of this seem to be properly written.
  5. I'm sure it's been noted, but on the very off chance it hasn't - the basic 'Faster Pistol Reload +20%' only lists as giving 10% more. Might just need to be a switch in something, one way or the other. I'd add pictures, but apparently this forum saves overall, rather than per post, and it's saying I've used all my attachment space allowed.
  6. Finally managed to get my hands on some, and went to make some hardtack for a friend. Recipe calls for water and wheat or maize. But wild doesn't count. So is it /required/ we go back and grow this ourselves? I feel like maize is maize, when it comes to cooking, though the flavor will likely be different in some aspects.
  7. This also happens on the brigantine. They will chew at the hull and the npc until the npc dies. And they aggro from the huge distance that all aggressive creatures do.
  8. There are multiple lawless spawn zones now that are a cycle of falling through the world and dying. Mixed with spawning underwater, hit by jellyfish, then eel, and dying. No chance with either to make it to land or escape.
  9. You can buy the plans for 400 gold (for standard or lion theme) from any freeport - you then need to build it
  10. And fix the fucking AI script that makes alpha wolves EAT a wooden base when nobody (including bodies) are inside. Why? What the fuck is a wolf chewing on a wooden wall for?
  11. A 50% reduction to aggro range won't let you kite something faster than you. Just let you walk around without calling down the pride of lions with snake and spider backup when you step onto a new beach, lol.
  12. Can we get a 50% reduction in the range of which aggressive animals will pick up a player? Can walk out of my house and nothing in sight. 3 steps later I'm getting eaten by a wolf.
  13. Alternatively - let large ships go over sandbars at the cost of structural damage.
  14. Can we please get an easy way to back the ship up, or indication of our own forward/backward movement? Aligning sails directly against the wind, for example, should push us backward. Aligning with, forward. This way if we enter some weird ass U shaped sandbar that won't let us turn our schooner (or larger) ship left/right in order to turn around, we can at least (slowly) get ourselves out.
  15. Not sure how it happened, as I went to bed after the servers went down - woke up to -101 skill points, no forced respec, and no option to respec. All my stat points are still spent as well. And some of my skills are unlearned, but not others.
