If you're actually able to change it, say after a server dc or w/e, you might get disconnected halfway through the process and get stuck there. The only hope you have, is somehow logging into a starter zone with fiber, get a raft, and get to a non starter zone. Put a bed down, and protect it at all costs. Ya i guess i'm just mad that I can't be in the exclusive party that all my friends are in, even though I payed money for it just like them. Now I have to wait on the sidelines and listen as they have all the fun without me.

Pretty fucking weak launch for an EA game if you ask me... unplayable.

spoke too soon i was able to spawn on our only bed outside of starter zone i died to a wolf, and some asshole shanked the bed forced me to respawn in starter zone. Now character is stuck in limbo again and I can't login anywhere 10/10 game experience

new patch just fixed it! I can login now and I got my original character back!

i'm going to try this on a different computer, on a different ISP (mobile hotspot) and report back what i find ...downloading now

I created a character early on. I died, went to respawn, got disconnected. When i joined back in, I had to create a new Character. I got dc'd again, now no matter what I do, I can't connect to NA PvP. I tried join current session, everything. Can't get in to NA PvP. EU PvP works fine. I have been trying for hours. Had someone in our team that same thing happened to him. As soon as he tried on another account, he logged right in. So if there are deleted characters or new characters stuck in limbo, it will keep people from logging into a server.

100% the main issue

If you have a character in limbo on a given server, i.e. Changed Home Spawn, got booted during previous versions, character got deleted during respawn, you will get this error, and won't be able to login to that server again. if you buy the game again on a new steam account, you can log right in no issues. please don't buy the game again on a new account for this reason, needs to be fixed hopefully next update will fix it
