First of all I need to say that I'm using this topic to help the devs to understand what happens when we failed to connect to the server.
I saw different ways to timeout a player but for now I am talking about my experience in this case.
If you have another situation that the servers don't want you to connect explain in the comments. Oh, and btw, english isn't my first language so I'll try my best for you to understand.
First of all, in the beggining I could enter in some servers. I tried to enter PVE EU but because it was to laggy (in the way that I couldn't move, had +-10fps and many bodies in the ground) so I tried PVE NA. But when I tried to enter PVE EU again, I couldn't, until the 5.0 patch.
Before the 5.0 patch I tried to enter PVP EU to test my fps and I started to understand one thing. If i tried to reenter some server, my access would be denied (timeout or connection lost).
When the patch 5.0 came, I could enter again in all the servers that I tried before (PVE EU, PVP EU, PVE NA) but just once. If I left the server I couldn't enter anymore. And I tried like +100 times, no joking. In the most cases the loading screen appeard but in the bottom left corner didn't appeared the loading bar and my GPU was like 10% (less than when I'm on the menu) so I thought that it didn't tried to connect me. One viewer of my stream said some people started to say that we could't connect because the server thought that we were inside, even if weren't. And thinking a lot further, it can be a answer or simply that the server sees our body ingame (because the body stays in the server "sleeping") so it assumes that we are in game and reject our connection? idk. But I tested the teory.
From the servers I tried, I had one server I didn't entered, PVP NA, and so, I tried and it tooked like 4 seconds to enter. Yeah, I spawned in the middle of the sea but, I could enter even after I tried for 2 hours straight in the other servers. So I left and tried to enter again and for my surprise, I couldn't enter anymore. So the servers now are like some sort of hardcore, if you leave you die cannot enter anymore. But if it have to do with our bodies ingame? idk, but it's a possibility.
Again, I know that some people couldn't enter even for the first time on the server, so it's not that my case is the same for everyone. If you have similar cases and, want to give some details of what happened, comment and, I don't know but, something said could help the devs to track the issue.
