When it comes to PC's, even if you buy the top of the line it is out of date a few months later lol. Anyway, all depends on the type and amount of gaming you do.

lol I know Atlas is not exactly a fully optimised game, but you definitely don't need a 10k gaming PC, nor would you need a 5k one.

Yup I definitely noticed a drop in spam recently, that was nice. That's the thing about cyber security, often you're always one step behind. It's definitely been a much welcome improvement. Down with the spammers!

If I want to take a day off from playing Atlas but still want to visit the forum and give my opinion on something for a game that I play and have invested hours into you damn bet you I am going to post my opinion.

So yesterday after I worked 9 hours, plus an additional 1.5hrs commute both ways, so that's 3 hours commute plus 9 hours work, that's 12 hours commited to work.

Then I get home, I make myself some dinner, I chill out a little because it's 27oC. I have to deal with some home related stuff and then you know have a few conversations with real people.

That left me with pretty much 2 hours before I had to go to bed to you know rest before getting up in the morning again and starting work again.

I'm sorry some pipe fell on you and caused you difficulty in life, but you saying that others who have full time jobs and busy lives that don't have 8-14 hours a day to play shouldn't comment on a game that they play is ridiculous, because you are claiming their "inability" to manage their life shouldn't affect your game, yet you are more than happy to claim your "inability" that allows you to do nothing but play games should affect other people's games.

It's actually around -2 or -3. When it was introduced it was below 0 then it seemed to change and whenever I see mine at -1 it is still too hot, maybe even at -2.

The PTR, as they have already stated, is intended to be used for testing major builds/changes to the game, not little one-off structures.

We did volunteer for that pleasure, hence why we all bought into early access instead of waiting until official release..

More furniture stuff would be awesome, also more stuff to hang on walls. Proper glass windows would be nice too.

I agree with @boomervoncannon though that often that is stuff you might see more towards the end of development cycle. But you never know. I got excited when I heard a new structure was coming, then I found out it to be the Silo, which I won't really use much as I only have one NPC right now  but i'll still place it for the "cinderella castle lagfest" appeal.

Although he says single player in the title, he says he's been playing solo since the wipe. I suspect maybe he actually just means playing solo online instead of actual single player.

I own Elite Dangerous, I haven't played for awhile.. if they bring out new content, I can't comment on it, until I've played it.. it's really that simple.

Don't play.. Don't comment.  That's the problem with Ark and Atlas.. all these people making demands, suggestions and comments.. on a game, they don't even play anymore.

 

Not everyone has a right to comment on a public forum about a public game in a freedom of speech world.... man you still high? People have commented that @Realist doesn't have a place to comment as he doesn't play the game, they don't really mean he has no right to comment, they just don't like the fact that someone with no experience of the game should push for changes that they haven't experienced themselves.

Now Realist has every right to comment like every single other person on this forum. If someone from Atlas is global banned in the game, they still have a right to comment on the development of the game. If someone doesn't play during the week but plays at weekends only, they still have a right to comment on the forum.

You have a right to say who has no right to comment because it's your opinion, an opinion that means shit btw.

And to say not everyone has the right to comment unless maybe their special.... well i'm not going to comment on that as i'll have the Mods on my back.

Because the silo was likely introduced to provide everyone else that doesn't own an island, that's a large portion of players, a similar ability for QoL improvement.

The main height of it is 2 walls high, but it has a pointed roof/top so goes slightly higher than 2 walls, maybe 2.5 walls high?

It's completely round, i'd say 2 foundations wide. I didn't take a screenshot of it, but i'm pretty sure that's what it was like.
