HAs anyone learnt anything about buried treasure yet? and where to find the maps

I haven’t come across any myself but other posters have said you get them from bottles floating at random in the ocean.

I wonder what the spawn rates and chances of actually finding one are. If this is currently the only way to make Gold that's disappointing.
