Any ideas why the Rhino does not gather metal?

In fact it does gather metal but only on pure metal veins.

Like i said, it is gathering metal, just not from stone rocks like you can do with your pick. It does only from pure metal nodes.

You do get metal this way but... In the testing that I have done, you will get more metal by using the pick.

You're better off taking a few bears and mining with a pick.  Rhinos are great for stone and ok for flint, but that's where it ends.

Yes, I tested it. I get more metal with a pick.
