100+ people Raid vs 4, lasting 18 hours. Problem with claims.

Hello,

yesterday our allies started to raid a company with 22 flags. Taking down 1 Flag took 3 Hour and 15 minutes. Alright, would be ok.
The worst issue was that they put beds all over the islands in small stone bases or hidden on the gras floor, keep spawning NAKED and running around the island and the claim progress didnt even stop, but RESTARTED. So everytime some naked one jumped out of their bed and made a circle around, they reset all claims. And when we destroyed 1 of this small stone base with a bed, they just closed them up again and made a new bed. So we had to stay at every single house and hope we can kill them before they could enter this building and close of all the walls.
I maybe should add, that we were over 120 people raiding.... So we was 120 people raiding vs like 6 of them and it took us 18 hours. We even bring so many because we except this to be a pain - but not as much as it is right now.


We could only win because we bombed every single peace of this island down. It took us THOUSANDS(if not above 10k) of canonballs, mortarshots e.t.c. alot of bears, alot of time, alot of BEER and alot of tears.

This was not fun at all and thats why i have following suggestion:

-Change the Claim system so it stops claiming when one of the flag-owner enters the area. And make it so he have to kill every enemy in the area around the flag to reset the flag claiming time and remove the contesting flag.

Standing there and watch him jumping around naked with his dong and fucking us over just by this, is not funny.
We tried to capture them but the lagg didnt allow us.

Honestly this is how it has to be. You took 100 people vs 4. They stood no chance in hell except their intelligent base design and planning allowed them to hold you before you outgunned them. The game needs to make it possible for smaller groups to have fun too and a group of 100 vs 4 is not fun for the 4.

Look, when u are alone in a stonehouse with a ton of layers, it will be a cake walk to take it over. But it was not a cake walk because they just jumped out of their base and ran around the island and reset everything. Wasnt fun because they could close up buildings we bombed up with bears before. It just taking hours of time to do it. Imaging another grp of 4 people would ve done it. Its not possible. So every company with less then 100 peps cant raid anything, when they can jump around their island over and over. And u cant stop it, because u cant proper hit them with lag, or its just too hard to aim when people are jumping to snipe them away before they can run 10 meters.

The thing is if you did not take 100 people maybe just 50 you would not have had the crazy lag.. the battle would have been more enjoyable for everyone.

It's better that it stays as it is to stop silly mega zergs doing what you did. It's hard enough for smaller clans as it is to make it easier for mega zergs is just silly. If you cant Kant keep a few naked people at bay then you need to question if you should be taking more land anyway..

The Claim system should be changed to where it follows the rules of King of the Hill. Whoever has the most people in the zone has priority. Eliminates the issue of someone your attacking just running around.

I mean you can apply the example that you listed to the streamers a couple nights ago attacking a major Chinese island, in N10 (Bikeman, Timmac, dasMEDHI). It took them I think more than 24 hrs to take over the island because the defenders were spawning all over the place with anything they can spawn on. They had the little stone bases, rafts glitched underground with a bed. They'd spawn, run around as many claims as they could and disrupt the claim.

So ya, I think a King of the Hill rules applying to the claim would work better.

No because then only mega zergs can own land.. 

It needs to stay as it is so smaller clans have a chance to hold on to land.. building multiple spawn points in defended areas is a legitimate way to defend a territory.. the glitching of stuff underground needs to be stopped of course.

The more you kill someone the longer it takes for them to respawn.  Giving the attackers the chance to lock down the spawn areas and destroy beds or the defenders to destroy the attackers boats.. well if they fox the server lag as when it gets bass it's impossible to grapple on to boats anyway.

Also when the server gets full it starts to kick people out of the zone this needs to only kick people out who do not have a claim in the zone.

You destroyed 100's of hours of their time.  And you are mad that it took you 18 hours.  Gotcha.  This post = when 120 people QQ because of 4 players. Glorious.

Solution, dont rely on cheap ass zerg tactics. Bring tames with cannons and blow their bed bases.

 

also reduce company size limits to 100. Mega tribes are stupid and a cheap alternative to politics.

So when you and your 4 friends want to take over this land, how do you expect to do it when 100 people cant? I am in a mega, we host small companies on our island. They are free to do whatever the hell they want and they are having fun. The claim system needs work.

You bring tames and cannons and you actually put the effort into destroying them. Chances of 4 taking 100 are very slim. But that's the odds of life. Not impossible. You could offline raid them. Or form an alliance and bring more force.
