I managed to get some eggs - but trying to keep them the right temperature was hard - when it gets too cold and the fire doesnt work -should i simply pick them up? am i better trying to do it on the boat?? Vaenix 131 Posted January 8, 2019 So from what I've experienced your best bet is to move north for breeding, It will be a complete pain but there is nothing in the game that can cool you down outside of jumping in the water. You can however heat a room if you are creative with grills for breeding/raising of animals. I'm not entirely certain yet if temp plays a part in the actual raising of the baby animals but I did have a bear cub with the island icon above him randomly die with food in his inventory and food stat pretty high still so it wasn't starvation.
