PVE : incentive to work together

- let us rent out shipyards(set a tax, open to public, done)

everyone can use your shipyard, but have to pay gold or a cut of the ressources to build in it

- let us sell ships ingame

make transfer ownership of ships possible without the hassle of leaving guilds etc. 

- make an ingame trade UI.

option with player interaction: trade

opens a window for each player (like inventory) where each can put in his own items AND sees what the other puts into his trade window.

put a button under it to "accept trade", plus another second button to  "complete trade"
both parties have to accept trade to complete it. this way scams and exploits are almost impossible 

 

- make NPC traders that BUY your stuff for gold. 
give us another way to make money in the game other than fishing for flotsam or finding treasure. 

- let us close / edit and change access rights to all production installations (smithy, loom, etc)
we could set up public installations, private (personal use only) and group / company or alliance usage
this would easily fix the sinking exploit

If the goal os to have a player driven economy then adding more robust trade mechanics would go a long way, as would allowing us to buy and sell ships.

Thats all good ideas ... But DEV wont have the choice anyway, if they don't add the things they promised, it'll probably burn their ass later 🙂

The ability to make trade routes beetween freeports and player ports would be really good !!

You just craft a new building that every player can build when they unlock the stone tier of building, would be called a Warehouse and you have to put it on a shore so player ships and merchant can access to it to make trades.

Then you have to set the resources you wanna sell, your prices, the quantity of it and NPC traders + players can buy some or even sell some (Possible to make a "Want to buy" section with this building so you can also offer gold in exchange of resources you don't have on your island).

It would make trading way better and a lot of players would like to make trade routes beetween free ports/player ports just to make that extra-money for exemple, or if they need some kind of resources for example.

The world really need to start to live because we're still far from EVE ONLINE (LOL)

EDIT : Forgot to talk about that, but resources that are loaded on a ship should be lighter than if you would carry them on foot (Again, to make trade routes better).

For example, you get a 500 stack of wood then place it on your ship container, it would only weight 100 kg, so it make trade better for people who wanna make sail for that (Me).

Would love this.

I have all the workstations set up and public for landless players to use.  I'm trying to figure out a safe way to allow people to use my small shipyard that's collecting dust, but only way is to invite them into our company.  Then we lose the tax on resources though; so there's no incentive to go through the trouble.
