What Weapon Destroys Stone Walls?

Now that shovels and shields are useless against stone walls, what weapon is good for that purpose?

Grenades, for which you need gems... which are not anywhere. Maybe the 5000+ chinese tribes found some.

Grenades are pretty weaksauce.  I think you want the other explosive stuff.

 

Cannons definitely do.  There are cannons you can build on land, possibly in carts of some sort but I havn't played around with the explosives much yet.
