How do you drop anchor on a Brigantine?

My crew just finished building our Brigantine and we're having trouble figuring out where and how to drop anchor on it so it doesn't float away. Does anybody have an tips on how to land our ship?

Gotta be in shallow water.

I'm not sure you ever used an other ship, it's the same as raft, you need to be in a glass of water to be able to lower anchor. If you are too deep the option is grayed, just need to access the wheel command, just aim at your deck and use the wheel. You can also press x while driving.
