Hi, I have a problem. Empty server has a CPU usage 20-40%

Does anyone have an idea?

Run a 4-ark cluster the values are significantly lower.

What are your experiences with CPU usage?

cpjet64 has found a way to make cpu usage around 13% message him on his twitch stream and he will help you

Add this setting inside the engine.ini inside the saved folder for each server shard.

[/script/onlinesubsystemutils.ipnetdriver]
NetServerMaxTickRate=15
 

For low population servers under 30 concurrent on the same shard at the same time u shouldn't see any difference at all.  It is what we are using.

Thanks man...but dont work for me... 1 Shard withe the Option on have the same usage like the other 2 shards exactly.

hmm, setting isn't taking effect.  substitute K1 for the save folder for that shard.  Is that exactly where u are editing?

hmm, sounds like you've got something messed up with your json.  Is this a hosted server with somebody like Nitrado or?

its oem json 15x15 no is HomeServer but Ark Cluster works no Problems ^^

ok, last option is to edit the defaultengine.ini.  I am not a fan of that option because of unintended consequences down the road but you can atleast try it now.   go into your shootergame/config   edit the DefaultEngine.ini and add that same line to the bottom of that file.  save it and restart your server.

Ok this config write to DefaultEngine takes effect...

NetServerMaxTickRate=10 cpu usage 10-20%  per Grid

NetServerMaxTickRate=15 cpu usage 20-30% per Grid

How deep can i go ^^

I hope for near Balancing Patch
