Single player how do i setup the starting island?

i need help I have tried to follow the instructions in the patch notes regarding single player changing the file Servergrid.Jpeg to Servergrid.(Map image) i found the map i want to play on and changed the file to Servergrid.Celllmg_2-6 and then started the game but then the game crashed what am i doing wrong?

Did you make a backup?I woulda started at the normal point built a boat and sailed there,pc's can be tricky with changes.can you reverse it?Cos if you can and you start in grid m7 sail to n7 every resource you'll need to start is there.

So, N7 is an island with lots of recourses? A good island? To start your  SP game?

are there more good islands?

It's the same as official but some zones are 'rotated'.

the reason i like n7 is it's got abandoned freeports good wildlife,plenty of metal, still near enough to m7 for crystal,and some nice shores for big bases.
