Exactly, some of us came for the promise of a MMO large world.  We want that, not small 3x3 (or ive found a 5x5).  

And none of that has to do with the fact that on official servers there should be some consequences and a way to report and a way to block.

There is no official way to report him. Thats the problem, show me a post/webpage for reporting? There certainly isnt a feature in the game.

The real issue here is the complete lack of dev response to these issues.

We have seen no reports of bans for cheating, Battleeye is off, racism is rampant, and you cant block individuals in game without turning off in game voice for everyone (and that doesnt help chat, symbols on flags, or territory popups)

Its really getting out of control and we dont even have an email address or /report feature in game.

Its 100% racist.  And the swastika too.

Pirate skill tree, second down on right, has diving rig in it

Put diving rig on ship, put oil (any kind including fish) in the diving rig inventory, suit will go on when you hit E on diving rig.

The second they do this people will use it to transport unlimited weight, you know they will.

You could just run a small dedicated server grid of a 1x1 just for your testing

Patch 10 (and the ones before it) are all easy mode changes.  We are moving away from a game that requires though and time to accomplish things into instant gratification pew pew pew and let every do everything solo.  Kinda sad.

Ships are very easy to build now.

The fact you can get the best ship in the game 2 days after the game has launch makes them pretty easy to build

No, as a solo it might take you longer to build a galleon, of course you cant sail a galleon solo, so why are you trying.

But as a solo you can crank out a sloop in an hour, and ive had the current one im sailing for 4 days.  Sail smart, not into every ghost ships and storm.

Its an old Eve maxim and it applies here too.

Too many people rage quit when they use all their materials to build the biggest, best ship they can, and then it gets sunk for one reason or another and they have nothing to fall back on or rebuild with.

Stuff is just stuff.  There is no death penalty here, you dont lose xp, you dont lose skills, in fact death is almost always a good benefit unless you have no close bed.

To play on games like this, even the PvE side, you have to be ok with losing stuff that you can replace, especially now at the permanent 2x rates.

You hit M, and it goes into the camera/poormans spyglass view, and nothing I can do switches back to normal map and compass.

And it comes down to removing tactical choices in battle as far as sailing.

So we can better understand the changes and what you are trying to achieve as an end product, any chance you could post a Vision paper or Roadmap for the Official PvP (and PvE) servers?

We all know local can do whatever they want balance wise, and with the developer kit coming, more than that.

But for a lot of us, knowing your intent would help understand the changes you are making, like are they short term band aids or part of the long term final solution? etc.

Turning General Shadows to Low removes weather Fog (not fog of war)

The bigger issue is we have no Vision paper or Roadmap plan for Official servers.  If we had that at least we would know their intentions.

So far all we see is Easier after easier change.

• When anchored, NPC crew will do repairs if removed from sail/cannon and set to neutral and not follow (it looks like they are sweeping the deck)
• In the Captaincy tree there is a ship storage chest that NPC's will use to conduct repairs, along with a Mess Food Locker that they will eat from
• With a NPC on sails, Z is full stop, SPACEBAR is full go, LEFTSHIFT-A and LEFTSHIFT-D rotates sails.

Its not just one thing, its that there keeps being more and more easy mode changes.

Max level in 1 day and galleons in 2 cannot be the goal.

And there are plenty of private servers with 10x rates for those who need an easier or faster game.

I want to be able to grind it out and say, look what i did, with 40k other people doing the same, you know, the MMO that was advertised.

This is the point of EA. This test period is not for your benefit, it's for the devs.

If you want to grind for literal years, go play Wurm.

I did play Wurm and Wurm has this beaten in two areas

Sailing in Wurm is more realistic (aka winds and sails)

And in wurm when you complete something, you REALLY feel a sense of accomplishment and pride.

I was hoping this was going to be a new Wurm, but its not even close and they keep moving it away from a MMO and to a pew pew pew.

So go test it on a private server at 10x

Lets face it, 9 out of 10 people who bought the game are not here to help test, or if they are, its a subsidiary reason.  Most are here for Pirate Game, play now, easy mode
