  1. I would have to disagree. Almost any game that comes out today is usually mostly pve with some sort of pvp component. I rarely see more than 5-10 people in a zone on the pve servers atm and there is no shortage of islands to go find resoures/loot on. There are already many many pve aspects to the game, the last mega patch was basically all pve oriented with the cave etc. Make the rewards for this hypothetical pvp zone equal to what you can get via pve means. Variety is not a bad thing.
  2. I think that a lot of folks that are on pve servers would like the opportunity to pvp but do not want to have to worry about it 247. I have played on both pve and pvp in a small company with really only 2 of us playing. pve is fun but it gets pretty stale once you are built up, pvp is definitely more exciting but having your boats wiped, a lot of the time when you are not playing, on a regular basis gets old. Why not have a few zones in pve either converted from current or some how added where it is pvp, maybe 1 land mass that has a king of the hill type set up that has a treasure with good rewards that folks can fight over. No building in the zone. I really think this could go a long way to giving folks the ability to pvp if they choose to. I guess server stability would be the only issue with this if it was popular.
  3. I think this would be a nice addition qol for pvp servers. I think it would also help retain smaller companies and single players to continue playing after being raided wiped. This would also lead to more traffic in freeports. My thought is a container with like 20-30 slots, maybe only allow 1 stack of gold or something along those lines. If you want people to play this game give them a viable way to leave and come back and not start with nothing. I think there are a lot of folks that if they had a stash of "stuff" to come back to they might be more inclined to return.
