Nope, but I'll continue to expect a higher standard.

It's getting a bit old refreshing the server list, refreshing the forums and refreshing the twitter feed to stay on top of this.

Same.  Not sure why the Empire PvP server is still listed.  They should have taken it down and strarted wiping and migrating data by now.

They wanted to manufacture some arbitrary reason to make people log in, becuase the entire map, before the wipe, was claimed, but people would only hop on every couple days/weeks to refresh, then disappear again.  Unfortunately, combining their plan to make the game more active with the ability to own land, THEN signifigantly limiting the number of people that could own land by letting them claim entire islands, failed to achieve multiple goals.

If they kept the claim flags, significantly limited them, then added a small/managable upkeep for one person, they would get a whole lot more activity in the game, and way more people would get their own litle tract of land.  With individual claims, people don't lose everything if they split from a Company.  And even one flag was plenty of room for one person. 

In a company, you would contribute your ability to place another claim, and everyone would know what they were responsible for.  And, if there wasn't enough room to place a claim, that just means you could help the company get gold for the claims they do have.

With one flag per person, they would marry the amount of land a company could hold to the number of people it has.

Even better, they could incentivize Companies to place claims in clusters with lowered upkeep, or maximum taxes based on concurrent flags, or whatever.

That's certainly understandable. Though, at this point, without some major rework and a promotional campaign, I'd estimate a 10% drop to claim point costs and upkeep would be pretty reasonable. 

I sure hope ya'll were erring on the side of caution with those claim costs. Not sure how many 60+ Companies you were thinking were coming. We need more <35 claims.

We all have ZERO reason to keep playing on Official until these changes take effect.

Also, Free-For-All building on PvE servers is a HUGE mistake.  Keep the individual claim flags but limit them significantly. Two claims per person.  That way if someone is kicked from a company, they get to keep a small chunk of land.

Please do NOT made the entire PvE server like Lawless.

EDIT:  It would seem their answer for the Pillar/Foundation spam is this structure decay damage.  I will have to wait and see how they implement this idea.  However...

There is still no reason to play right now.
