  1. When fighting battles on the high seas with the ships of the damned, it would be cool if instead of just sinking your ship, warriors of the damned boarded your ship if things weren't going your way. This could offer a secondary battle and last ditch way of saving your ship if you can fend them off. I, of course, would also like to board a ship of the damned, but one thing at a time.
  2. Players could build a special type of box that allows them to offer items for sale. It would work similar to a vending machine where you simply add the item you want to sell, associate your required "price" and when someone outside your company adds that "price" to your box, they can retrieve the item or items that can be bought for that price. Example: I want to sell monarch pies, a cannon and a large speed sail. I add those items to my trade box and select what I'm willing to accept for trade and how much of it I want. It might be: monarch pie: 1 gold cannon: 10 gold, 100 cobalt, 10000 fiber sail: 10 gold, 10,000 fiber One-eyed Jack wants to buy a large speed sail so puts 10 gold and 10,000 fiber in the box. As soon as puts the items in the box he can either buy a pie or the sail because the resources he's added covers both. He makes his selection and receives the item. Note: to simplify the system, you can limit the transaction basis to core resource items (so i can only pay with gems, crystals, fiber, thatch, wood and gold)
  3. It would be great if banks could level up after they gather a certain number of resources so you can offer new financial products such as ship builder's insurance. Some ways this might work: 1. when any company player loses a ship they get a payout if they've opted into insurance but it will cost you 1 gold a day to opt in (the insurance "cost" can get paid into a fund that will do payouts on loss) 2. others could pay into your bank to recover their ship if you've activated this option and they lose their ship on your ocean claim
  4. I've been watching my fortitude and I've tried a few things to understand the dynamic. Things I've tried: 1. wearing the same clothes for a prolonged period of time 2. adding and taking away certain animals that boost fortitude 3. increasing my fortitude when i level up What I've observed is that the fortitude number changes dramatically even when all external factors remain constant. I've seen my fortitude drastically shift between a starting point of 52 down to as little as 18 without making any changes that would theoretically affect it. I suggest stabilizing this number and simplifying the mechanic so that debits and credits on fortitude are more obvious (if I put on certain armor it will increase or decrease). If you're trying out a complicated fortitude dynamic, whatever you've implemented isn't logic that the rest of us can follow, so it would be good to simplify this so we can enjoy the game and not constantly die of overheating without any option to change the situation
  5. Hi, we're exploring the world on our Brigantine, and I've noticed a pattern when one of our members logs off while we're still in motion or logs off and then we move. It seems that person gets left behind and wakes up in the ocean. To reproduce this problem: 1. Move a ship out to the ocean with company members on it 2. log off one company member while the other continues sailing OR 3. log off one company member then move the boat after they have logged off RESULT: When logged off person logs back in they are in the ocean where they originally logged off EXPECTED: logged off characters should be anchored to the ship wherever it goes if they log off on the ship
  6. Hi Remo, I'd be interested in any help you can provide to find areas to claim. We're a small company but we've made it pretty far and managed to get a tiny rocky claim which we've made the most of. But we're reliant on our neighbors and their high taxes to gather the resources we need. We finally started building our big ships in lawless areas because of the availability of resources there and then we park them on our little plot of land. So if you meant what you said and are willing to help, we'd love to find a small claim with a few resources.
