  1. I played Ark for very long time. No difference and nothing going to change in regard of bugs and support.
  2. Since Ark this company baffle me: They create such a nice games and they do such a bad work running it. 1 Patches and Upgrades during peak game time and weekends; 2 Game full of bugs running totally without support; 3 They do lot of development but unable/don't want/reject to fix bugs I start having a feeling that they have some sort of big "target" (fix-idea) ahead of them (some sort of future super-project) and they just don't care about their current projects, while moving ahead to this bug one. This is just a guess, but behavior of this company is very "strange" and confusing.

  5. I noticed that , items that I put to the big box sometimes turn into buggy, useless BP. Just like that: I put cloth chest piece to the box and next when I login was buggy BP insteead of it. This is not just happen once, it keep happening to me. Another thing - pets. I tamed Elephant, I put him on the deck. He was in front of me. 5 seconds later dissipated in the air. No records of death in log, not underneath of the ship, not around. I spend quite some time running around the island, looking on the bottom of the sea under the ship, inside the ship. It is more then week now - and no entry about its death either. This morning I can't find crew member on the boat. When I login yesterday he was sweeping the deck. This morning - absent, No entry of death in the log, not around, not on the ocean bottom. Ship was anchored. Look at the atached screenshot, this used to be cloth chest piece. Now it converted to BP not in the box, but right inside the NPC.
  6. Is that possible to put lighthose on top of hand made building? then just create tower, tall enough, and place lighthouse on top of it. And to prevent climbing make a balcony around it, so it would be impossible to climb there.

  9. What this colored fog around islands means? Sometimes it is red, yellow, white or blue?
  10. I've created Lighthouse few days ago. NA Pve, Lawless H12. Put in few stacks of wood, light it on and it was nice and sweet. When I log in tonight - there were no lighthouse anymore. Just completely gone. Last time I"ve checked on it - yesterday night, was full of wood and work. what happend to my light house? Why it dissapeared? And there are no entry in Company Log

  12. Hello, I am searching for discovery locations using spy glass. I noticed, that if you go away from the islnd, outside of rendering distance, then trees and resources will fade awayand you can better see discoveries which usually hiddent behind trees. I figured, that night time is better as discovery are more visible (glowing) and you will not miss location even if it is only partically visible. Still , I can't find all of them. What am I missing? Example: I went to I12 there are 3 islands (1 dp each) Then I get on my ship and run around island finding locations spots. Then I came ashore and climbed on mountains top and watched from there. I found all discoveries but 3rd and 4th. So, I found: following locations: What's Left of the Rapier The Heartless Atoll Rapier's Outpost Pesky Dan's Needle Coxswain's Refuge Cottletry Cay Berthierfell Key I can't find two those: Rocks of Old Rest Spot QUESTION 1: Why I am not finding them? What I am not doing? QUESTION 2: can discovery spot be in the open ocean away from the islands? P.S. this is not first zone where I am missing several locations... really appreaciate tips and advise
  13. I mostly care about wrong handling sails positioning. I would say it is "High Priority" becuase it disrupt normal game play and playing experience. Rudder issue is minor. The question is if we are going to deliver good quality gaming here, then we shold care, as steering the ship is one of the primary activities in this game, and this applicable to both mentioned problems,
  14. But I fully agree with you: this is not that bad as wrong handing sail positioining.
  15. Current implementation of the rudded is both not intuitive and against physics. As a side affect: dont forget about learnign moment: imagine what "Joe" could do if he will get chance to ride real boat after he get used to wrong behaviour here.
  16. Another issue: wrong rudder behavior when you backing up: as drawn on upper right icon, boat should turn to different direction when go reverse. Example: If you turn steering weel to the right and back up, boat should rotate counter-clockwise, but in current implementation it does clockwise. This behaviour is wrong and not intuitive. Also, handling sails still not drawn properly as I stated above.

    Beds problem

    I've figured it out: I used schooner with 0 additional accomnodation. I put there two beds and game alowed it. As soon as I did that, bveds were screed on this boat and on my Company. So, to avoid it, do not put more beds than the boat actually allowed + accomodation. Schooner : 1 Brig: 2 Galeon: 2 If you already have extra - delete them as it will glitching and will not work anyway. But can also screw your normal bed. I think this is bug that should be fixed: Right bebehavior: boat should not allow building extra beds above of current limit.

I've figured the answer: 1 Put crew on "C" (optional) 2 Choose battle station(s) that you want to assign on this target (unselected groups will not recieve the target) 3 Right click and hold right button pressed 4 hower over desired enemy - release right button. Upon release targeting icon will appear on enemy (for short time) and also targeting icon will appear on selected battle station(s). 5 Do not click "V" after all, as V will switch selected battle station(s) to regime similar to "aggro" and therefore remove chosen targeting. 6 you can choose defferent targets for different cannon groups. Or you can assign all/several groups on the same target.
  19. Unfortunately, they dont shoot ALWAYS. somtimes - yes. For ship of the damned ~50% chance for whales it is really problem - always never. Ships are really easy to kill, this isnt a problem. Whales are real problem: crew won't auto shoot them. And manual targeting is super buggy and works really bad, you can shoot out hundreds of bolts with zero results - I mean playing solo and shooting via npc crew using left and right mouse. Using "V" is much-much more effective. But they wont shoot at whales, except for spme rare times. Question: how to force crew shooting to particular whale in auto mode (with V command). Just click V does not works usually. Mouse click with V makes no sence and does nothing else but usual mouse click and separate click V. How?
  20. In atlas movies (strams) I've seen that ppl did soemthing and then white raget icon appear on taraget boat and NPC start shooting at it. What was that? I have really hard time trying to make make team shooting at enemies (Solo PVE mode). Pain in the A when fighting whales - crew wont auto fire (rarely sometimes it does). So, how can I explain to my crew on canons/balistas what they shout be shooting at?
  21. this will allow you manually make target for one shot of selected cannons. How about "specify target for NPC crew" to use then with auto fire "V" ?
  22. Is there way to specify particular enemy for NPC crew to attack? I approach several enemy ships which are close to each other, how to explain to NPC crew wich one to attack?
  23. P.P.S. Another trick that some ppl do: if FOY is not yet in the zone, there are much less monsters and it is much easier to reach the FOY. SO, some ppl waiting until fountain will get close enough to the zone, and right before it migrate to the zone run to the location and wait there. When fountain arrive they just make final hop inside the cave to rach the fountain. Be aware, that there are always mobs at fountatin spot (even without fountatin), so you will have to wait near by and make a try when F arrive. I would suggest to do little training,before main try. Training are easier when F is not yet there. P.P.P.S You can always try to do it on local machine first, learn location in ghost/god mode and only after that try in real. Choose zone that is best for you!
  24. This is quest. It can't be done with just killing/running. Yes, the quest is complicated. Yet it is doable. There are different zones where you can make the quest: Portal migrating throuhg golden age zones, in order: C6 > D12 > F8 > G3 > H6 > M12 > O7 > O14 > C6 To learn where the fountain is now, use this: Each zone requires different approach. Some zones require using zip line. Another are easier and can be done by running proper trajectory. I tried D12 first, spend several days and here is my conclusion: it is very complicated , and can only be done with using zip lines, preferable team efforts. WIth another words, I've failed D12, and ws as mad as you are. But after a while I start thinking and aasking ppl, and I got suggestion to try F8. I tried, and it is way much easirer then d12. so I did it just at second attempt. Many ppl says the same: "F8 is really good for this quest". Of course, you will have to wait until FOY gets there, if you can't wait, you can try another zones. Use youtube as source of informnation, there are good examples of how to do it.
