  1. I did it by accident with some gold coins , you just keep transferring it quickly between a box and inventory , or split and swap it fast as you can. between a box and inventory. it hasn't happened to me in a while so I'm guessing they patched the glitch that happened to me
  2. half cost for a half wall .. but this sounds like common sense ?
  3. well said , your story resonates with mine I think the Dev team are all isolated from our kind of play because they focus more on the large groups.. perhaps they need to be forced to play solo for around 100 hours each to see how far they get and the downfalls they encounter playing alone, I think they are far removed from any kind of difficulty's that regular folks encounter. I personally find Solo play rewarding, its way more difficult but I enjoy the freedom to do what I want when I want without needing permission from the Chief. the downside is that I can't ever control a big ship even with NPC's due to the grind , if NPC's could wield weapons that would be helpful, like bow/ arrow or even a spear would be way better than fists.
  4. I play solo and find it somewhat rewarding because of the difficulty level.. If I can survive traveling over a few squares in a ramshackle sloop or manage to make landfall on a zerg island and get the discovery, it's somewhat rewarding.. some kind of honor system or bounty's would be cool. I also found it rewarding to find a few holes in my base and the main structure intact! the way I see it Solo is hardcore difficulty mode, If you want easy mode then join a massive crew. Personally I just like to explore and run between islands the only bad part about being solo is being scared to launch a schooner because it takes a week or so to build and it's 100% guaranteed to be destroyed on the maiden voyage. I'm basically keeping my ship un launched in the yard in a lawless area and using it as a base/spawn , the same way that people beach a raft and build a stone wall around it .. Devs have announced major changes in march, remember this is an alpha. the game will have many changes to come.
  5. they could have just taken the servers offline. I've found out how the greifers skip the d/l que , you just scan the integrity of game files and it skips the que
  6. the fix would be to void the ships weight when either anchored or stationary. the 1000 people could get on without sinking it
