i say shuffle the grids and add the new ones in random spots. shake it up. dont gotta wipe anything. people will have to make new alliances, maybe, or be forced to move to maintain an alliance. I could dig it. Shake it up.

it happened to me too, randomly died somehow and there was no bag or green orb. i've seen it happen to others especially after a patch. i had 20 large planks and 25 large gun ports in my invo. many hours of farming invested, gone. i was upset, sure, but oh well. i kept playing the game i love and have spent 750 hours within for all its flaws were tiny compared to the glory i've had and that's to be had yet... your complaining about some shovels and potatoes and contemplating uninstalling... im chuckling like a mofo at the absurdity.

hell yes. i had planned to build it by now but have just been busy with my new crew building war ships and collecting heads and mounting them on the wall. i have over 40 now. but now that i know people like the idea, ill build the daddy of all arena's now. all stone.

whew I won. I found the perfect lawless island to build the next arena on too. I'll spread the word when its done in stone!

Please make heads equiptable  in the off hand. i want to press block and wave a freshly chopped head by its hair at their captured mates or even just block with the head.. like a shield but much less effective.. Would be glorious. 

I've literally gone across the world head hunting in a brig with a bloodthirsty crew. lawless is my hunting ground. 32 heads on the wall. piracy is truly amazing now. swinging onto ships. a fresh new world ripe for plunder. looking badass while doing it.

Bull shit. I'm having a blast. I've got a wall with 32 heads on it at home and bookcases full of blueprints and chests full of gold and loot from pirating. been on the move for days with a bloodthirsty crew. It's been 3 days since wipe. Don't ever presume you know a damn thing not even having bought or played it after this update. Its been sick.

Hey yall, so I'm curious if anyone has made a high definition atlas icon for their desktop. I use a 55in 4k television as my main display and the original atlas icon looks pixelated and low resolution.. idk if i have ocd but it really bothers me lol. I've gone into the atlas files to look for a better icon and all i've found was a high definition icon of the planet without the atlas lettering... has anyone made a better one? If so, could you point us perfectionists in the right direction and provide a link for download?

Anyways, that's fine. I understand how people feel towards us but there's one thing you have to understand. Out of all the mega-hating threads that are on this forum, it's the same 20-30 people doing all the complaining. Problem is, that isn't even 0.1% of the community. Who do you honestly think the devs are going to listen to about future changes? The same people who have been crying since day 1 about every little thing? or the core group of hardcore players that they invite into their "state of the game" discord chats? 

Here's a few words of wisdom for you bud. It doesn't matter what the devs do with company/alliance caps. We will play on any server we like. You should stop worrying about others and just enjoy the game.

bruh this is teh forum. reddit has plenty of the same type of posts. either way, mega's only made up 20 percent the population yet are capable of ruining the pvp for 80 percent of the population. colonies was to try to counter you and give you your own empire playground. the only positive thing i got from your op was that now we know the biomes and islands had better be mixed up to counter you asshats too.. just plain ridiculous. would be nice if you had a meeting about starting on empire for the massive shit and kept it small on colonies for the sake of keeping the game alive... but nope. humans are dumb. 

In game moderators are needed to enforce colony server rules with temp bans. thats all i gotta say about it. mega's will break the mechanics every time otherwise.

Pc is the only platform where mega's will exist so just regulate it with people as its here. Don't see this problem happening on xbox and playstation.

I think declaring this game dead is about as premature as jat saying the wipe was gonna be in 2 weeks 

at least wait until 1.5 and judge then.  i understand why people are holding off till after wipe, as im one of them, but those who don't come back didn't like the game and concept to begin with. 

soooo where in MMO is the SLT spelled out for super large teams? oh, its not.

Disable company renaming and now you have a history that characters can't remove exploit or avoid.

like a public record for their history attached to their account for if recruited. i like that. insiders would be exposed.

odds are, that company would be in and out of the zone before a mod ever even got to the server. also, it wouldnt be hard to take a look at the server log. easy to make a log that shows all people, their companies, their steam name and id number, how long they were in the server, people they've killed in the server, structures destroyed while in server etc.

what's the odds that a company is gonna have their entire company on during a raid 50/50... almost never. let alone a full alliance 200/200? server floods will be the indication of a mega

server flooding is not hard to find. would take a 5 min investigation to see if more than 4 companies are attacking one island. 4 companies maxi in alliance. if more than one alliance is attacking the island then they inappropriately forming a mega zerg and should receive temp bans. trust me, once the main menaces receive temp bans, those server flooding kind of zergs will die out because people would rather just play the game.

There was room for small companies in the old system, certainly will be in Colonies regardless what others do.

 

not gonna lie, i'd be playing on both servers, if empires doesn't just die.. colonies would be my tight fam, guerrilla warfare, trading network  type shit and empires would be my go to for large battles and lagfests.
