I just love the long explanations of how people are supposed to try and try again if they get a bad landlord and publish his name on a list and try again.  Pffft.  People dropped out of the game in huge masses over lesser frustrations than that.  On the bright side, almost any design can work with a playerbase of 25.

These people who keep defending this because they expect to be landlords haven't realized yet that the tenants can grief them just as much as they can grief the tenants.  Once they do, they won't be quite so hot on the idea.

Not only this, They think that with a big enough company they will not even need tenants. I hope that without tenants even a company of 250 cant hold the claim of the med-high point islands. It will be the same as it is now. People would rather build on lawless than live under someone. 

Lawless is better than the 1 flag equals a whole island claim for PvE. It will be no different from the current flag system. My only hope is that even the 250 count companies can not keep up with the upkeep of the highest point islands without a large variety of tenants.  

Nothing that I know of. Usually caused by Steam. If exiting the game and restarting steam wont fix it, have to wait on steam for a fix. 

Means steam did not give Atlas the correct info.  Have not gotten it for Atlas but have for a couple other games before.

Nothing wrong with upkeep. Everything decays, upkeep doesnt mean it will take all your time it just means it is not 100% perm without some effort. 

the third poll is 100% wrong.  Pve get player shops in freeports only and PvE get them in freeports and settlements. 

polls mean nothing way to easy to manipulate. 

cant keep discovery points because some of the locations are moving or being removed/changed. discovery points are tied to character lvls. therefor can not keep characters on official. this will not affect unofficials. there are still a few things in the code for the new that could affect unofficials.

It would not surprise me after all the backlash if they were discussing characters. I did see on reddit a few database admin going on about how to save character data and migrate it back to the post wipe server.

Yes wipe has not changed. just claim/no claim systems being rehashed. 

Yours and others choice to learn from this one or repeat the same feelings next time.

Only the first will not be the last, now we all know to be prepared for a wipe at almost anytime before release.

Use this wipe as a learning experience. It is the first wipe, not the last. 

Go watch the livestream. There you can hear the reason for yourself and not the translation of someone  else.

Atlas will be in early access for another 2 years almost. If you think this will be the only one, ask the Ark group that said Atlas would never wipe because Ark did not.

if it has to be attached to the actual structure and auto-repair box is limited per player it will indeed. 

that puppet 123 player has to have a settlement, and that settlement can be took over by anyone during the war. 

except if you are the settlement that declares the war, you are open for attack from any one during the war. 

that is out of every 24 hours, 9 hours per day.

The owner of the settlement sets it. Was discussed in the live feed. 

This is only the first wipe. Expect more to come. If you can not handle wipes then do as the steam store page suggests and wait for release.
