So you can deliver the keys in 2-3 hours i agree. But you would have to use an  exploit to reset the timer^^ Also you can't kill hydra or dragon 9 times in 2-3 hours too. You can of course help one player who gets supported by others but i said this based on a group who all want the reward. Also you could create several accounts running them at the same time to get more artefact keys.(exploiting?) And of course you can make 9 ships out of one... easy^^ Don't take this seroius. Again if you join a mega there are lots of players who will help you getting the stones or now lots of mega players figure out the new best way to get to lvl 120 again.

@Gomez Addams the patch note says no XP at all. I think we have to test this as we and maybe the devs don't know if it is working as intended. This is because we are the aplha testers of this game but we have to pay for this exclusive expirience.(well  it's a great and fun game so far) But you can be sure the megas testing this first on PvP will not tell you. Because knowledge is the way to win.

like how do you get the idea to open your map... pick up a barrel... jump into water ... open map again ... to get two barrels(should be fixed now) There are so many creative players outthere with the only mission to hunt some bugs(for abusing) with testing 100 of hours stupid things to dupe. They even managed to dupe with fast travel....

We have done it.  Take several fast schooners, each with a load of keys that were farmed from an easy hydra island and sail to the various power stone islands and you bed hop from one boat to another and just run them in.  Just need a dozen or so people and 5 ships.  Last season, before the stones were all in the same region of the map, we had Kraken down before the first weekend and snowman before the next.  We are, after all, the Wet Bandits. 🙂

Run into this several times...  good new is, if you don't take too long you may be able to sail there and recover the ship...

If you don't delay too long and can get back to it, I suggest destroying the bed, crossing a zone line, place a new bed and cross your fingers.

I would attempt this if I could connect, but 45 minutes later and I still am unable to log in; disconnection after the fast travel attempt or the "you are currently changing servers and can not join at this time" message.

  3. I am currently captaining my brig from a freeport zone (J9) to K9.  When I reached the border of the zone and began to transition, I was disconnected.  Upon attempting to log in, I kept getting connection errors and sometimes a request for me to choose a location to fast travel to.  Another person in my company attempted to fast travel to my brig and was unable to do so.  He said it looks like it keeps going back and forth between J9 and K9 repeatedly.  I would be pretty disheartened to lose the boat I just spent a week building.

As it stands, I am unable to log in, and I assume the boat is gone.

I disagree. I play PVE because I don't want to PVP. We shouldn't have retribution options on PVE, we should have protection.

The solution is utterly trivial. Ark already has code that prevents non-tribe people from landing on a platform saddle. That code could easily be set such that out-of-tribe people, animals and dropped items simply bounce off a vessel. In the case that you want to give a lift to someone not in your company, an option to "permit passengers" could be added to the radial menu. If that's active (and should be inactive by default) then the weight of those passengers counts as expected.

Combine that with setting all containers on PVE servers to be lockable and locked by default (the way it should've been in PVE) and BAM! No more overload griefing.

You have a point, and I agree.  People who have chosen to play on a PvE server have made the decision before stepping foot on land to forego the elements of gameplay that revolve around PvP.  I think Rottin's suggestion is an attempt to retain some realism, but yes, there could be ways to exploit that solution as well; to force people into PvP situations that would otherwise avoid it.  A very valid concern indeed.

  5. I absolutely second this; it will no doubt turn away potential players who are unable to reciprocate or prevent any use of this exploit... all they can do is watch as days of hard work sink into the abyss.  There must be a way to deter this behavior.  Furthermore, it seems rather unrealistic that 5 heavily laden people are able to scuttle a schooner.  It would make more sense to either increase the carry weight of the ships or drastically reduce what players can carry on their person.  The best method by far would be to add an engaging game-play mechanic such as what Rottin is suggesting, which would introduce a fun nautical themed role play element while also deterring bad behavior in an otherwise consequence-free environment.
